The atmosphere was strained. Daria felt wronged after losing the money, but Charles still put her in such a dilemma.

Knowing that there was no room for negotiation in this matter, Daria was furious. She rested her hands on her hips, her chest heaving violently, and her red eyes seemed to be about to spurt fire. "You can't be so domineering!"

"Then what do you think we should do? Do you want me to watch you in danger and ignore you?" Charles sat on the bed, "I promise I won't do anything to you. I will arrange a separate room for you."

Daria scratched her head in bewilderment. Since she had lost the money, she might not even be able to pay the rent of next month. Damn thief! Why did he break into her shabby house?

Daria looked around the messy room. How could she let Charles live here?

Looking at her expression, Charles knew that she had compromised. He patted her on the shoulder and said, "I have everything in my villa. You just need to pack up some clothes. I'll wait for you in the living room."

Daria lowered her head and said nothing. Then, Charles passed her and walked out of the room. Thinking of the ten thousand dollars, Daria felt a pain in her heart. She could only comfort herself that losing those money would help her avoid disaster in the future.

Charles went to the living room and looked around. Things were scattered all over the floor in the living room, which was less than twenty square meters. His eyes were flexed on the photo frame beside the TV, and he slowly walked over.

In the photo, a family of four were laughing brightly. Charles couldn't help touching Howe who was on the rightmost. His warm fingertips went through the young man's joyful face. Charles remembered that that year, he was still a twelfth year old boy, but his happiness had long gone after this smiling boy disappeared in his life.

From the bottom of her heart, Daria didn't plan to live in Charles's villa for a long time, so she packed up some things simply. When she came out of the bedroom, she saw that Charles was staring at the photo frame beside the TV.

Daria stopped and suddenly rushed over. She grabbed the photo frame from Charles's hand and hid it behind her back.

Charles was taken aback by her sudden move. Looking at her vigilant face, he raised his eyebrows and asked, "What? Can't I see this photo?"

Daria clenched the photo frame, bit her lips subconsciously, calmed down for a few seconds, and said awkwardly, "No, I'm packing, and I just forget this photo frame."

Then she put the frame into the luggage and looked at the TV cabinet. She put the rabbit night lamp on the cabinet again.

Charles naturally took the luggage bag from her hand, but Daria quickly stepped back and said, "I can do it myself."

However, Charles took the luggage from her and said, "Let's go."

Staring at the luggage, Daria patted her chest secretly and followed him.

Although Charles's villa was not small, in addition to the master bedroom, there was only a secondary bedroom and a guest room. So of course Daria had to sleep in the guest room, because compared with the secondary bedroom, the guest room was far away from Charles's bedroom.

However, Charles directly put her lu

e me."

But this relationship and marriage were all fake! Daria held back her words. Things had come to this point, and it seemed that it was useless to regret it.

"Don't think too much. Everyone's fate is only in their own hands. The only thing that will really change your fate is your choice." Looking at the confused expression on her face, Charles smiled, "But life continued with numerous choices. So you must know what is behind every choice."

Charles slowly looked at Charles. When she met his clear eyes, she felt flustered and quickly looked away.

Without saying anything, Charles turned around and left her room. Looking at the closed door and the mirror on the dressing table, Daria looked at her short hair in the mirror. Suddenly, she thought, 'If in the eyes of Charles, I'm not Daria, but Howe, can I change my fate?'

The next morning, Daria got up early specially to prepare breakfast for Charles. Charles walked into the dining room and smelled the food. He looked at the busy back of Daria. The morning sun shone on her. She was wearing a white T-shirt, a pair of slippers and a light blue straight jeans. Although Daria was thin, she looked like a thin version of Howe.

Daria put the porridge in front of Charles and said with a smile, "Red bean and coix seed porridge, it can reduce the dampness in your body. Have a taste." Then she put the tableware aside and pulled out a chair to sit beside him.

Looking at the smile on her face, Charles took a sip of porridge and said, "You are in a good mood today."

Daria scratched her head. Was it so obvious? After clearing her throat, Daria smiled and said, "Mr. Bob called me just now and asked me to go on a business trip to Q City. It's about three days." Although she didn't know why she had to go on a business trip since she was just a director of logistics, she was satisfied that she could leave for three days. As long as she didn't have to look at Charles every day, she would be satisfied. After all, it was three days.

Charles took another sip of porridge unhurriedly, "I know. Let's go together."

The smile on Daria's face froze. "What do you mean?"
