Cory knew that Susanna would acted like this, so he followed her unhurriedly, with a warm smile on his face.

There were not many people in the parking lot. The sound of high-heeled shoes and leather shoes echoed in the empty environment. Susanna walked towards her car as usual and opened the door with her slender hands. When she was about to get on the car, she was stopped.

"I have something to talk to you." Cory took the opportunity to close the car door, grabbed Susanna's hand with one hand, and held her in his arms.

"Let me go." With a straight face, even her voice was a little cold. Susanna looked away and didn't look Cory at all.

"What happened that day was just an accident. I don't know why Felice was there. I admit that I don't know much about you, so I don't know what flowers you like. It is just because the shop assistant of the flower shop said that girls would like that kind of flower, so I bought it. It has nothing to do with Felice. " Cory made everything clear in a particularly firm tone.

The voice-activated sensor light in the parking lot had already been turned off, and Susanna's car was parked in the inside, so that the space between the two of them was dark.

Due to the blurry vision, other senses were particularly sensitive. Although Susanna lowered her head and didn't look at Cory, she could still clearly feel the loving eyes from Cory. She could also smell the pleasant smell of cologne from him, which made her unable to ignore the existence of the man in front of her, and she couldn't avoid it.

Those determined words came to her ears through the wind. Susanna didn't know whether Cory's words were true or not. At this moment, she felt that her heart seemed to pause, and she could not think any more.

"So..." Cory softened his voice, "Will you forgive me?"

Susanna raised her eyes which were filled with tears, "No, I don't want to." Then she pushed away Cory as fast as she could and hid into the car as if escaping.

When she stepped on

more or less sensed something from Mandy's behavior. Although he still wanted his biological parents to be together, if this thought only made his mother sad, he would rather his mother find someone else.

Susanna looked at Jarred in surprise and felt sad. Seeing that Jarred was so considerate, she felt even worse.

"What about you? Are you happy?"

With a bitter smile in her eyes, Susanna reached out her hand and gently stroked Jarred's head. She had tried her best to cure his autism, but now she made him sad and depression again because of her own.

Nodding his head heavily, Jarred said, "I'll be happy as long as mom is happy."

The moon was dim, and the light passed through the window and fell on the two figures who were snuggling up to each other. Susanna held Jarred on her legs and didn't say anything. Her heart was filled with gratitude.

Another weekend, Susanna accepted Timothy's invitation and they went to the art exhibition in the city.

The orange-yellow and bright blue intertwined on every wall of the hall. Susanna walked slowly, her eyes resting on the ingenious painting, and a faint smile appeared at the corners of her mouth.

Timothy who was next to her explained dutifully and explained his understandings from time to time. His words were euphemistic and serious, not showing off at all.
