The sudden touch on his forehead made Ryan's body stiff. He looked at the woman in front of him with deep eyes.

Noticing that Ryan was looking at her, Jennifer realized what she was doing. She withdrew her hand awkwardly and said, "I'm sorry. I just want to see if your fever has gone down. I didn't mean to touch you."

Knowing that Ryan hated her, Jennifer lowered her head and didn't know how to face the man in front of her. She was a little flustered.

Ryan glanced at Jennifer and said in a hoarse voice, "It's OK. I'm fine."

His words made Jennifer's worried mood disappear in an instant, and a smile appeared on her face.

The smile fell into Ryan's eyes and made him absent-minded for a while.

However, Jennifer didn't notice that there was something wrong with Ryan. She caught a glimpse of the needle with blood on the back of his hand and said nervously, "You are still having an intravenous drip. Don't move."

Then Jennifer slowly stood up and walked towards the inner room. After a while, she took out two pillows and came to Ryan. She carefully supported him and put the pillows behind his waist.

As soon as Jennifer got close to him, Ryan smelled the faint fragrance of her body. He couldn't help swallowing hard to press his strange feeling.

Without noticing Ryan's change, Jennifer picked up the bowl on the table and said to him, "The doctor said that you'd better have some liquid food after you wake up. I made some porridge. Well, let me feed you?"

Since Ryan got sick last night, he had never eaten anything. The smell of food in the air made him even hungrier.

Looking at the slightly cautious eyes of Jennifer, Ryan was stunned and gently nodded, "OK."

Ryan didn't refuse Jennifer's proposal.

Hearing that Ryan didn't refuse her, the smile on Jennifer's face became brighter. She held the bowl, carefully fed him.

Soon, a bowl of porridge was finished.

"Do you want more?" Jennifer asked in a low voice.

Ryan shook his head and said, "I'm full."

After washing the dishes, Jennifer went back to Ryan. She took a look at the infusion and said softly, "You can sleep a little longer. The infusion will be ready soon. I'll be with you for a while."

While saying, Jennifer covered the quilt for Ryan and sat back to her original position. In order to avoid the embarrassment of the two people, she didn't dare to look at Ryan. She just silently took out her mobile phone and silently swiped the screen.

From the corner of his eye, Ryan saw the action of Jennifer. His tightly pressed thin lips curved an arc, and he closed his eyes to prevent the embarrassment between the two people.

Maybe it was because of his illness, Ryan fell asleep soon.

Jennifer kept an eye on Ryan all the time. Listening to his steady breath, she put her cell phone on the table gently, rested her chin on her hand and looked at the sleeping man carefully. Her eyes gradually softened.

She thought, if she could quietly look at the man for a lifetime, she would be satisfied.

A bitter smile appeared on her lips. Jennifer knew that she and Ryan would never be together for a lifetime. She knew that he didn't like her, so she could only try to leave more memories of the two when she could get along with him.

Whether they were good memories or bad ones, there were the best memories for Jennifer.

After the injection finished, Jennifer carefully pulled out the needle from the back of Ryan's hand. Although she tried to move as gently as possible, she still woke up Ryan.

Ryan opened his eyes in a daze and didn't know where he was for a moment.

When his eyes met the guilty look of Jennifer, Ryan looked away slightly and sat up from the sofa with his hands. He said in a voice not as hoarse as before, "What time is it now?"

"It's almost six o'clock," Jennifer replied quickly.

Ryan was shocked.

He even slept in the hotel room for a whole day.

Looking up at the tiredness in Jen

nifer's eyes, Ryan cleared his throat and said, "I'm a little hungry. Wait me for a while. Let's go out for dinner."

Then, Ryan lifted the quilt and was about to get up.

Jennifer said, "Well, how about you lie on the bed and I pack the food for you?"

She was still worried about Ryan's health condition.

Ryan stared at her and said, "I've been lying on the bed for a whole day. It seems that all my bones are broken. Please don't torture me."

Shocked by Ryan's rare sense of humor, Jennifer watched him get up and walk into the room.

He tidied himself up as fast as he could. Except for the slight morbid look on his face, Ryan returned to his usual handsome look and reminded Jennifer, who was still sitting on the sofa, "I'm ready. Do you need to change your clothes?"

His voice immediately brought back Jennifer's thoughts. She suddenly stood up and said, "Yes, wait a minute."

Jennifer turned around in a hurry and trotted into the room. She took off her dress and changed into a light gray sportswear. After looking down at herself and making sure that there was no problem, she walked out of the room and smiled at Ryan. "I'm ready too. Let's go."

After taking a look at Jennifer's outfit, Ryan left the hotel room without saying anything.

Seeing this, Jennifer quickly followed him, with a touch of blush on her delicate face.

The two of them found a western restaurant near the hotel and had a simple meal. Then they returned to the hotel.

After pouring a glass of water and bringing the medicine, Jennifer walked up to Ryan and said softly, "It's time for you to take the medicine."

Glancing at the pill in Jennifer's hand, Ryan frowned. Finally, he reached out for the pill, took the cup and drank it up silently.

When he was about to put the cup aside, Jennifer took it first, smiled, turned around and left the room.

Jennifer stayed alone in the living room. It was almost ten o'clock. She stood up and walked into the room, taking her pajamas into the bathroom.

The bathroom of the hotel was separated by frosted glass. At this moment, the graceful body contour of Jennifer was reflected directly. Seeing this, Ryan couldn't help but look away.

Without knowing what was going on outside, Jennifer took a shower and was about to leave the room directly.

"Hey. You sleep on the bed tonight." Ryan stopped Jennifer.

Hearing this, Jennifer stopped and looked at him awkwardly, "You are still sick. I..."

"I'm not so weak as to need a woman to give the bed to me. I will sleep on the sofa tonight." Ryan refused coldly.

With an embarrassed look on her face, Jennifer was still worried about him. She thought for a while and suggested in a low voice, "How about half for each of us? I can ask for an extra quilt for the hotel to put in the middle of the bed. Don't worry. I will never touch you. Is that okay for you?"

Knowing what kind of person Ryan was, Jennifer was worried that he would continue to sleep on the sofa. She could only come up with a compromise, but she was still worried that he would dislike her advice.

Ryan's silence made Jennifer feel uneasy.

After a long time, he replied, "OK."

Jennifer's mind went blank for a moment, and then she realized that Ryan had agreed. Her heart was beating fast. It was not until Ryan took a shower that she finally found the problem of frosted glass. Looking at the body figure of Ryan through the frosted glass, she thought of the scene of herself just now, and her face directly flushed.

She lifted the quilt and buried her burning face directly into it. She was so shy that she didn't know how to face it.

After taking a shower, Ryan came out of the bathroom and saw this scene. He thought that Jennifer had fallen asleep, and his heart beat fast. He lifted the quilt, turned off the light and lay quietly.

This night, Ryan and Jennifer who had been disgusted with each other before, stiffened and faced each other, at a loss.
