"Are you okay?" She asked.

Charles glared at her and wanted to strangle her.

Charles lay beside the trash can and began to vomit. Natalie patted his back gently, trying to make him feel better.

"Stay here. I'll buy you a bottle of water." After saying that, Natalie turned around and ran away.

Charles leaned against the wall and sat on the chair next to him. He swore that he would never ride a roller coaster again in his life.

Oh! Charles covered his mouth with his hand. He still felt uncomfortable in his stomach and dizzy.

After buying the water, Natalie rushed to him and handed him the water. She stood still, gasping for breath.

"You will feel better if you drink some water."

Charles took the water and rinsed his mouth. After drinking a few mouthfuls, he felt better. He turned his head to look at her flushed face and gasped for breath.

"Are you running for your life? Why are you in such a hurry?" He asked. He was worried about her, but he didn't want to tell her.

"I'm afraid that something bad will happen to you!" Natalie answered directly. She took a deep breath and felt better. She grabbed the bottle in his hand and drank it slowly.

Charles was used to her carefulness.

"We can try some other activities after you have a rest." Natalie said with a smile.

Come on!

"No." Charles refused directly. He wanted to live a few more days.

"Why?" Natalie didn't understand why he refused such an interesting thing.

Charles glared at her and thought, 'How dare she ask why?'.

"Don't worry. We won't ride the roller coaster this time. We'll ride the merry-go-round which runs very slowly." Natalie insisted.

Charles shook his head and refused firmly.

Natalie stood up, grabbed his arm and said like Olivia, "Let's go, Charles. Please go with me just once."

Charles was stunned at first, and then he was about to change his mind.

Seeing that he didn't say anything, Natalie knew that there would be a chance, so she took him away, and then Charles agreed with her without hesitation.

Coming to the place she said, Charles breathed a sigh of relief. Indeed, as she said, it was acceptable because it was very slow.

Natalie took the lead to sit down. When she was a child, she often went to an amusement park nearby with her father, which was neither big nor beautiful. But her whole childhood was full of happiness. Every time she did well in school, her father would take her to the amusement park. At that time, she felt very happy. When her father gets better, she would take him to try this together.

Sitting on the merry-go-round beside her, Charles felt awkward. He had only heard his classmates mention it, and it was the first time that he had sat on such a childish thing.

"I just said it was very slow." Said Natalie, turning her head.

Charles didn't respond. In fact, this girl was pretty, especially when she smiled.

Natalie looked up at the sky at forty degrees. With a sweet smile on her face, she blocked the sun-light off with her hands. Charles took out his phone and took a picture of this moment. At that moment, he felt that this woman was so beautiful, not that amazing beauty, but that she made people feel warm, like sunshine.

The merry-go-round gradually slowed down, and Charles was still reluctant to leave.

"Are you feeling better?" Natalie turned her head and asked with a smile.

"What?" Charles didn't hear it clearly.

"You look gloomy all day. There is always something in your heart. You are cold every day. I want to do something to make you feel better. Do you feel better now?" She explained with a smile.

Charles didn't say anything. He stopped and looked at her back, muttering, "What should I do with you, Natalie? I seem to like you a little bit."

Natalie turned around and didn't see him. She turned around and shouted at him, "What are you doing there? Let's go. I'll take you to a place. It's my secret base. I've never taken anyone else there."

Charles slowly walked towards her and followed her. For so many years, Natalie, you are the first one who cares about my feelings.

"I found that place by accident. It's beautiful, but it's a little far away. Don't you mind?" Natalie asked. She didn't hear any response from him for a long time. When she turned her head, she met his affectionate eyes.

"What are you looking at?" Natalie raised her hand and waved it in front of him.

Charles came to his senses and replied, "Nothing. Didn't you say that you would take me to a place? Let's go."

Natalie nodded. She felt that he was a little different just now.

According to the route pointed by Natalie, Charles drove directly out of the city on the road in the suburb. Charles had never been to this road and found that the scenery here seemed to be good. The car passed through a long tunnel, and the slightly dazzling light in front of them shone.

After adapting his eyes for a while, Charles turned his head and looked around. The two sides of the road were full of yellow canola flowers. Occasionally, You can see a few people walking in the farmland. Charles smiled. It seemed to be a good place.

"We'll be there soon." Natalie said excitedly. She hadn't been here for a

long time.

"Okay," replied Charles.

They drove through several hillside in more than 10 minutes. There was a section of road that was not very flat and the car was a little bumpy. At a fork in the road not far ahead, Natalie pointed to the right-it was a sharp turn. Charles turned a corner and drove for about two or three minutes. They seemed to be driving up the mountain. The altitude here was more than one thousand meters and the mist could be seen from a distance.

Opening the window, Natalie said excitedly, "We're almost there."

Wild flowers could be seen on both sides of the road not far away, and then more and more wild flowers of different colors were seen on the roadside. She couldn't see the end of the road ahead in the car. The car was moving up in the middle of the wild flowers. There was no barrier on both sides of the road, and beside it was a cliff, as if it was a road to heaven.

Charles slowed down the car and enjoyed the scenery on both sides quietly.

"Beautiful, I didn't lie to you." Seeing that he was absent-minded, Natalie said complacently.

"Yes." Charles nodded. This place was indeed beautiful. If it weren't for her, he would never know there was such a place in L City.

The two parked their cars in an open place on the mountain and walked to the edge of the cliff not far away. It was almost winter, and there was a trace of coldness on the mountain. Natalie pulled her clothes to warm herself up.

The two stood on the edge of the cliff and looked at the surrounding scenery. The surrounding mountains were surrounded by mist.

"Are you satisfied here?" Natalie stared at Charles and asked.

Charles nodded. He reached out his hand to touch her hair and pulled her into his arms. He was greedy for her smell and thanked her in his heart.

Lying on his chest, Natalie felt a little nervous. After a while, she pushed him away and scratched her head awkwardly.

She looked around and felt very calm. A lot of things had happened these days. She was about to collapse, but the man beside her had been helping her, so she was very grateful to him.

Ah! Natalie shouted in front of her.

Charles was stunned by her voice and then smiled.

"Natalie! Everything will be fine. You will live a happy life. Don't give up! " She stood on the edge of the cliff and shouted to the front. There was a faint echo around her. With tears in the corner of her eyes, she thought of her father in the hospital.

"Do you want to have a try?" Natalie stared at Charles and asked.

Charles shook his head. He couldn't let go of his heart like her.

"It works." Natalie said, unwilling to give up. She thought that Charles shut himself out from others too much. He should try to let others get close to him, and try to open his heart.

"If you have anything to say, let me help you." Natalie asked.

"It's none of your business." Charles refused directly.

Natalie stopped forcing him, but she shouted in the end.

"Charles, you must be happy."

He smiled bitterly. Happiness was too far away for him. He was born not to be happy.

"You should smile more. You look good when you smile." Said Natalie, staring at him.

"Really?" Charles thought for a while and didn't know how to smile. He didn't care about it at all. The mask would really become his face after wearing it for a long time.

They found a spot on the mountain and sat down, quietly watching the surrounding scenery. They didn't say anything and just watched it quietly.

Ah Choo!

Natalie rubbed her nose and felt a little cold.

Charles took off his coat and put it on her, "Shall we go back now?"

Natalie shook her head and said, "Just stay a little longer." She didn't know when she would come back. She didn't want to leave for the time being.

In fact, Charles also wanted to stay a little longer. As long as this woman was with him, he would feel very comfortable.

Another hour passed.

Ah Choo!

Charles sneezed. He didn't feel a chill just now.

"Let's go back!" Natalie stood up and patted the dust on her clothes. It was almost winter and the temperature on the mountain was falling so fast. She overlooked it. She returned the coat to Charles and felt a little sorry for him. He only wore a thin shirt in such a cold day. He might catch a cold tomorrow.

Charles stood up and nodded. They walked back. Along the way, he sneezed a few more times. He didn't feel warmer until he got in the car.

"Are you okay! I'll get you some ginger soup to drink tonight. " Natalie said apologetically.

"Don't worry." Charles rubbed his nose.

The car was running smoothly all the way. Natalie was so sleepy that she almost fell asleep. All of a sudden, she was startled by a loud bang. When she opened her eyes, she was not sleepy at all.

"What's wrong?" She looked around and asked nervously.

Charles shook his head and said, "You sit in the car. I'll go out to have a look."

Natalie nodded. She didn't see Charles come back for a long time. She got off the car too and saw him checking the tires.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing serious. The tire is flat. I'll change the spare one in the trunk." As Charles said, he opened the trunk and Natalie followed him.
