Carter hurried to hold him and asked worriedly, "Dad, are you okay?"

Kane pushed him away, "Do you think I'm fine? I'm almost pissed off by you."

Kane sat down slowly with the help of the table and said weakly, "Is it because of Charles again?"

Carter didn't know why his father thought so. He quickly denied, "No."

"Humph!" Kane snorted. He didn't believe what Carter said. If it weren't for that brat, he couldn't figure out why Carter would go against him.

"You can leave now!" Kane covered his chest tiredly, leaned back on the chair and closed his eyes without saying anything.

Carter nodded, turned around and left. He closed the door and went back to his room.

Strangely enough, Carter and Elaine had been married for five years, but they had always been sleeping in separate rooms. Although Kane had hinted or even expressed clearly many times, Carter still followed his own will. Kane cared a lot at first, but he gradually paid little attention to it. He thought it was better for the young to deal with it by themselves.

Elaine went to bed early, looking forward to tomorrow's arrival. She went out to prepare for her birthday as soon as the dawn came.

Next to the sickbed of the hospital, Natalie was woken up by her mobile phone ring. She opened her eyes and rubbed them in a daze. Seeing that the person on the sickbed had not yet woken up, she took out her mobile phone and walked out gently.

As soon as the phone was connected, Charles said coldly, "Where are you?"

"Hospital! Or what? " Leaning against the wall, Natalie yawned. She had stayed by her father's bed the whole night. Her neck ached so much. She stretched herself.

"Don't move. I'll pick you up." After saying that, Charles hung up the phone and didn't give her any chance to refuse.

Looking at her phone, Natalie was in a daze for a few seconds. When she came to her senses, she asked, "Why is he coming to pick me up?"

Unable to figure out the reason, Natalie simply gave up thinking. She went to the bathroom and washed her face to sober herself up. As soon as she came out, she met Charles, who was walking towards her with breakfast in his hand.

Looking at him walking towards her, Natalie opened her mouth in surprise. She pointed at him who was already in front of her and asked doubtfully, "Why are you so fast? Didn't you just call me? WOW! You are not a human! "

Charles gritted his teeth and slapped her on the head, asking, "Not a human? Am I a ghost?"

She covered her aching head and said fearlessly, "Who knows."

Charles glared at her, put the breakfast into her hand and explained, "I guess you are in the hospital, so I drove here directly. "

Natalie looked at him with a touched look. She didn't know what to say. In fact, this guy was not bad at all. She didn't know why his relationship with his brother was so bad.

"What if I'm not in the hospital? You came here for nothing." With a bun in her hand, Natalie looked at him in confusion.

Carter was lost in thought. After a while, he replied, "I haven't thought about it. I could go back if you were not here."

When the two of them were walking out, Natalie suddenly stopped. Noticing that she didn't follow him, Charles turned around and shouted, "Are you stupid? Why are you standing still?"

At that moment, the sun outside the window just shone on his face, and he had a smile on his face, just like when they met for the first time. Natalie's heart raced uncontrollably. All of a sudden, a shiver ran down her spine. What was she thinking about? The one she liked now was Carter. She trotted to catch up with him.

"Nothing. My feet suddenly cramped."

"Are you okay! Can you walk? Or I can carry you. " He said with worry in his eyes.

"No, No. It's all right now." Natalie refused in a hurry. She blushed and didn't dare to look into his eyes.

"By the way, what are you doing here?" Natalie suddenly changed the topic. She didn't want to continue the embarrassment.

Charles slapped her on the head again and said discontentedly, "Today is my sister-in-law's birthday. Everyone in the business circle will come tonight. You are my fiancee. Do you want to attend the party with me in your cheap clothes?"

Natalie didn't think that she was wearing cheap clothes. She thought they were very beautiful. They were sent by Carter in the hotel yesterday. Thinking of this, she blushed again.

Natalie got into Charles's limited edition sports car, which attracted many people's attention on the way. She didn't know where he was going with her, and she didn't even bother asking.

The car stopped outside a chic shopping mall. Natalie got out of the car with a face full of wow! She didn't even dare to think about this kind of place before. Any piece of clothes in it would cost her expense of the whole year. Charles took her to this kind of place. Was there anything wrong with him?.

She tugged at the corner of his clothes and whispered, "Why do you take me here?"

Charles stared at her as if she was an idiot, "Of course we are here to buy clothes, or shall I take you here for dinner, idiot?"

Natalie pouted and murmured, "I don't have money." She turned around and was about to leave.

Charles grabbed the collar behind her neck an

d lifted her over. Natalie, who was tiptoeing, was lifted in the air by him and looked at him with complaint. She muttered to herself, "You are tall. You win."

"Don't worry. I'll buy you whatever you like."

"Oh!" She answered, got rid of his hand and turned her head away. Pouting, she thought, 'Money had the last word!' Humph. If she had money, she could do whatever she wanted. Suddenly, she remembered her father who was lying in bed. Natalie lowered her head and found it was true! How interesting!

Noticing that the woman who had been lively just now suddenly became absent-minded, Charles pushed her with his hand and said discontentedly, "What are you thinking about when you come out with your fiance?"

Natalie kept her mouth shut and didn't look at him.

Carter took her to the highest floor by elevator. When the elevator door opened, Natalie followed him numbly.

"Pick whatever you like. The dresses here are all limited editions designed by a master. If there are any you like, tell me and I'll buy them all for you." Charles said like an upstart.

Natalie covered her mouth and snickered. But she didn't know what kind of dress she should wear, so she said, "Pease help me choose. I don't know which to choose because I have never worn a formal dress."

Looking at her in a daze, Charles thought for a while and took her directly to a corner.

The shop assistant inside bowed and said politely, "Hello, Mr. Charles. What kind of clothes do you need? Do you need our help?"

Charles pointed at the strapless dress out of the window and asked the shop assistant to bring a pair of light red high heels.

"Try them." Charles ordered.

With the dress in her hand, Natalie smiled awkwardly. "Is it too revealing?" Although it looked good, she had never worn such clothes and felt it was not good.

"Just do as I say." Charles said impatiently.

Why so troublesome. Just have to change clothes.

Natalie pouted and walked into the fitting room with the dress in her arms. Charles felt that he had been waiting for her for a long time, but she still didn't come out. He shouted with dissatisfaction, "Come out when you are ready."

Natalie stood inside, covering her chest, and opened the door with hesitation.

Staring at her, Charles's pupils dilated in an instant. When did this woman become so beautiful? Wasn't she the woman he had dreamed of! She was so adorable.

She raised her head and asked shyly, "How is it?"

Charles touched his chin and replied after a while, "Not bad. Don't you wear makeup when you go out?"

Embarrassed, Natalie said, "I don't have this habit."

Was it not beautiful? Otherwise, why did he say that.

Natalie walked to the mirror and looked at herself in it. She reached out to touch the person in the mirror. Was this her? On the top were hand-embroidered pink flowers, and the waist was embroidered with three-dimensional pink tea flowers. A thin purple tulle extended from the left of the waist to the lower right corner of the dress in the form of water waves. The whole dress was properly embroidered with three-dimensional flowers, and trimmed with laces. She was like a princess now.

Natalie turned around and said with a smile, "I think it's pretty."

Ahem! Charles coughed slightly, turned his head and said lightly, "Not bad."

Natalie ignored him and looked at the dress.

"Let's go. I just want you to try it on. I intended to send it to someone else." Charles wanted to tease her, but as expected, her face suddenly darkened.

"Oh!" Natalie murmured in a low voice. Then she turned around and went to the fitting room to change her clothes.

When she came out, Charles said, "Please pack it for me."

The shop assistant packed the dress and handed it to Charles. He threw it directly into Natalie's arms and said naturally, "Carry it for me."

Natalie was a little unhappy. It was not bought for her. Why did she have to carry it for him. While thinking of this, she took the dress obediently.

Natalie followed Charles closely, as if she was his little attendant.

"Where are we going next?" Natalie looked at the driver and asked.

Charles glanced at her and said, "Just shut up and follow me."

Natalie stuck out her tongue and turned her head to look out of the window. She didn't know why she felt inexplicably comfortable when she was with him, and she didn't have to hide her emotions.

"Get off the car. "

Charles's voice came when she was still thinking. When she got out of the car, Natalie saw several eye-catching words "TBO Hairstyle". She wondered why he took her here?

The staff in TBO came up to them as soon as they saw them. A man with short hair and mustache on his lips said with a smile, "Wow! Isn't this Mr. Charles? Why are you here today? What brings you here? "

The man had a look at Natalie who was next to Charles, with a little surprise in his eyes, but not too obvious.

"Do her a hairstyle and put on makeup by the way. You can decide the details by yourself. If I'm not satisfied with it, I will tear down your shop." Charles squinted at the man and threatened.

The man didn't take what he had said seriously at all. He patted him on the shoulder and said, "Don't worry. I'm good at making you satisfied."
