For the whole night, Jack did not speak to her, nor did he even see her.

She was so angry that she tore the tissue on the bed.

"You are so annoying. Just don't talk to me. I'm not afraid of you."

She murmured like a dissatisfied housewife.

She really hated to be ignored, and he was cold and violent to her, which really made her angry.

"Knock, knock, knock..."

There was a slight rush of knock on the door, which was obvious in the quiet space.

Was it Jack?

She stood up to open the door, only to see Henry standing at the door expressionlessly.

Henry turned around and left in a hurry, closing the door gently.

He was left alone in the room. Jack stood up and walked back and forth.

Her figure was lingering in his head. Damn it! Why did he care so much about her?

He told himself countless times to control his feelings and heart so as not to fall in love with her.

In the dim light, he lit a cigarette silently...
