Alina took the opportunity to shout, "Ted, scratch his eyes!"

"Woo..." Ted was a child after all. He was so scared that he didn't dare to move at all.

"Bad girl, I didn't expect you to be so vicious!" To prevent his eyes from being scratched, the man put Ted in his armpit, lifted his foot and kicked at Alina.

Alina grabbed his clothes tightly and tried to hide behind him to prevent him from kicking her.

Alina was almost kicked.

The man was carrying a child with him, so he became less agile. He kicked Alina several times, but failed. He was angry and anxious.

He failed to kick Alina away. The man pulled the clothes on his back and tried to pull her over.

The clothes were of good quality. Even though they were pulled half a meter long, they were not torn.

The man grabbed the long clothes and circled them around his hand. Then, Alina was pulled closer to him gradually.

Seeing that she was about to enter the range of his attack, Alina was worried and afraid. 'What should I do? What should I do?'

At this time, a mother came in with a little boy from the north gate. As soon as Alina saw them, she shouted, "Help! The abductor takes a child! Call the police!"

The mother was more than ten meters away. Hearing Alina's words, she grabbed her child's hand and left.

Seeing them leave quickly, the man sneered and said arrogantly, "Stop shouting. No one will help you!"

Looking at the backs of the mother and son, Alina felt desperate.

She could understand the mother's behavior, but she had to blame her emotionally.

At least she could called the police!

As more and more clothes were wrapped around the man's hands, Alina got closer and closer to him.

"Let go of me, or I'll teach you a lesson!" The man warned her fiercely.

The man's eyes were full of malice. Alina knew that he was not joking. If she didn't let go of him he would really kick her.

Looking at her hands which were red and numb by the clothes, she wanted to let go of him for a moment, but she was awakened by Ted's sob.

She couldn't let him go. As long as she was conscious, she couldn't let him go!

The man didn't have a tender heart for women. Seeing that the warning was useless, he raised his foot and hit Alina.

They were so close to each other that there was no room for her to dodge if she didn't let go of him. So Alina was kicked hard.

"I told you

licemen asked, "Young man, can you ask the child to describe what happened to us?"

"Can you stop asking now? My brother is scared!"

"We know the child is frightened, but it's our duty to know what we have to know!"

Sheffield didn't want to talk to the police anymore.

Soon, Jack and Iris arrived one after another.

Seeing that their son was fine, they breathed a sigh of relief.

After asking Sheffield a few questions and getting a general understanding of the situation, Jack talked with the police and quickly dismissed them.

"Honey, the human traffickers are too rampant! How dare they target our son? You can't let them go!" Iris held her son in her arms and said in righteous indignation.

She was afraid that if Alaina hadn't stopped the human traffickers, she would never see her son again!

With a straight face, Jack said, "I know. You don't have to tell me!"

"What did the police say?"

"They said that this human trafficker is likely to be a repeat offender and he is very skilled in the crime."

"Since he is a repeat offender, he must have committed several crimes. The police are useless. They can't catch such a person!"

Jack glared at his wife and said, "Come on, don't talk like that outside. Your husband is still in an official position!"

After a moment's silence, Iris's eyes turned red and said to Sheffield, "Thank you so much for today. I don't know what I'd do without Ted."

"Auntie, don't say that. Ted is also my cousin." After a pause, Sheffield continued, "And you should thank Alaina the most. She risked her life to save Ted."
