Opening the door, Seraphina pulled her best friend into a bone-crushing hug.

Bella chuckled, "Babe, you still saw me two days ago." Isabelle reminded.

"True. And I think that's the longest we've ever been apart. I mean in the sense of no communication because you wouldn't switch on your damn phone." Sera shut the door behind her and then rested her back against it. "I can't wait for all of these to be over. I miss Us. Me, you and Gabriella. We had plans this week, remember?"

Isabelle nodded slowly. She, Sera and Gabby had planned out a lot of fun stuff this week since it was their free week before they got buried in their books, preparing for upcoming exams."

Bella led the way to the living room, crashed on the Sofa and Sera followed suit, putting her sling body cross bag away.

"How are you?" Sera asked as she took in her besties appearance once more. Bella was on skinny jeans and a plain top, her hair was down but her eyes were still a little swollen.

"I'm okay. My experience these past few days has been a life-changing one. I'm left with no choice but to accept my mistakes and grow up."

"You've reached out to your Dad and Gabby?"

"No. But I plan to go see them tomorrow. Hopefully, they will find a way in their hearts to forgive me, especially Gabby."

Sera stroked Bella's hair. "You're doing the right thing and I'm sure they would be happy to see you. I would have offered to come with you but I think this is something you need to do alone."

Isabelle nodded.

"How's everyone at home?" She asked Sera, referring to her parents and siblings. Sera had one elder and two younger siblings.

"Fine. Mom, Dad and Jessica sent their regards. Jess kind of suspects something is wrong but I didn't open up to her." Jessica was Sera's elder sister.

"Not surprised, she had always been an expert in studying people's mood through her deep observation."

"I'm so tired of her, Trust me. She said she knew something was not right when neither you, Gabby or I posted pictures of your birthday."

"I had to tell her we did that on purpose, wanting to use it as a throwback picture a few weeks from now. I knew she didn't believe me but that's her business."

"By the way, I spoke to Gabby on my

e that was at the party to clear up Gabby's name."

"It's okay if you don't want anything to do with me anymore. At least I know you were a great boyfriend, the best I ever had but I fucked us up. Please forgive me, I'm so sorry."

Jason raised her chin so he could look into her eyes. "I'll forgive you on four conditions."

"What conditions?" She sniffed, not believing they could actually be together again.

"You will apologize to Gabby, make up with your Dad, you will forgive me too for failing to open up to you concerning what I knew about Gab and your Dad, finally, you will promise to always trust me just as I trust you."

Isabelle nodded.

"I will apologize to my Dad and Gabby in person tomorrow. Gabby told Sera why you failed to tell me what you knew about her and my Dad; Sera had explained everything to me. Thank you for acting so mature about it. Turns out I'm the unmatured individual."

Isabelle heaved a sigh. "And I promise to always trust you, Jason."

He pulled Bella closer to him and hugged her. "I missed you."

"I missed you, too. Thanks for forgiving me!"

They shared a few seconds of a passionate kiss before Seraphina interrupted them.

"Maybe everything actually happens for a reason." Sera approached them, holding a bottle of coke and a plate of cookies. "Gabby and I couldn't stand Jason before your birthday but right now, I can't tell you how much I love him."

Isabelle threw an ugly glare at her best friend while Jason chuckled.
