"No, don't..." Tracy shook her head and grabbed Brody's sleeve anxiously.

No, she didn't want any other gem. She didn't want them. No matter how many gems he would buy for her, Bob wouldn't accept any of them, and she couldn't save her father's life.

Brody frowned and said firmly, "Don't you have one?"

He felt fidgety when he saw her tearful eyes. Ray and Tracy were both crying in front of him.

He had tried his best to be fair, and even took away the gem of Ben, but it seemed that even so, Tracy wouldn't be satisfied.

Tracy shook her head, clenched his sleeve and said, "Don't you remember you can't give it to him? It's Wendy's. You can't dispose of it yourself. If you gave it to other, how will Wendy explain to Ben?"

said Tracy anxiously. Although she said that in a hurry, she found that it was true. In addition, the most important thing was that she needed it to save her father. If Brody gave the gem to her and she gave it to Bob, she would explain it to Ben for Wendy.

"She should pay for it since she dared to steal it," Brody said disapprovingly.

Seeing that her plan didn't work, Tracy shouted towards him, "No way!"

Brody firmly looked at her and said, "you're too greedy."

Tracy was stunned by his words. She could see the determination in his eyes, which was as cold as ice.

"Tracy, this is the only thing I can do for my sister. Please give it to me. I'm really sorry for my sister."

Ray begged with tears as he held Tracy's hand. When he spoke, a strong sense of guilt, self-accusation, and even intense pain was hidden in his eyes, which no one else could notice.

With tears in her eyes, Tracy lowered her head and pleaded, "Ray, your sister has been buried. Why are you doing to relocate the grave? What's more, she has died and could not come back to life anymore. What could she do even if you gave her a gem? Sorry, I really can't do that."

Every time she said something, her heart ached like it was pricked by a needle. It was so painful that she almost couldn't breathe.

She didn't want to waste time on it. It was just a gem. If she put it simply, it would be nothing more than a simple stone. But this gem was really different. It was life-threatening.

"I'm so sorry for my sister." Ray cried. His eyes were filled with complex emotions that Tracyy could not understand.

At the moment, she paid no attention to Ray at all. The only thought in her mind was the gem.

"No..." Ray cried.

Tracy shook her head. She didn't care how bad Ray cried, she just couldn't give in. How could she risk her father's life?

Brody sighed, "Stop arguing."

Both of them stopped talking, but neither of them gave in.

Then, he went to the drawer and opened it. The familiar gem was in his hand, and Tracy looked at it anxiously.

"Uncle Brody..." Ray ran over pitifully.

Brody glanced at dumbfounded Tracy, handed the gem to Ray and added, "Your sister is dead. It's useless to put the gem in her grave."

Ray shook his head and said stubbornly, "It's meaningful. If I give this gem to her, she will definitely forgive me."

Puzzled, Brody looked at him and asked, "What?"

Ray h

hing figure was squatting in the corner. Beside her was a pile of torn clothes.

Her hair was unkempt and her eyes looked unfocused. When the door was opened gently, a man walked in.

When his eyes swept across the helpless figure in the corner of the wall, he stiffened and said subconsciously, "Why are you still here?"

Elsa did not speak. Being so depressed, she had lost her usual arrogance and vitality.

Bob walked to her and said, "You can choose to die, but even though your family can do everything to turn C city upside down, and no matter how powerful your brother and Brody are, they can't find your dead body here."

Elsa did not say a word, just biting her dry lower lip tightly.

Bob squatted down, pinched her chin and said, "I didn't mean to hurt you. After all, you are just a child. But what you heard is not a normal secret. You should blame yourself."

Elsa remained silent, staring at him fiercely.

Bob smiled cruelly and pinched her chin harder, as if trying to crush her.

"You can choose to starve to death here. But I have to remind you that there is only one precious daughter in the Xu family. As far as I know, Brody was around you since childhood, treats you as a treasure and doesn't dare to hurt you a little bit. Yeah, he never scolded you."

Without saying anything, Elsa closed her eyes in despair and said, "I want my clothes."

Not until she finished speaking did he notice that her voice was too hoarse to be heard.

"I don't have any obligation to serve you."

She was so angry that she tried to slap Bob. However, her wrist was grasped tightly by him. "You don't even have the strength to stand up. How dare you hit me?"

Elsa struggled hard to get rid of Bob's grip, glaring at him with hatred.

"If you want to go home, go back by yourself. If you don't want to go back, just die here." After finishing his words, Bob stood up and walked out heartlessly.

Biting her lower lip, Elsa couldn't help but burst into tears.

She thought that she must have been punished. Why didn't anyone come to save her? Nobody even missed her now.
