He could not stand it anymore! But the man sitting opposite to him motioned him to be quiet, so he had to continue listening quietly to see if there was any explosive secret.

"Please." Austin's sudden voice brought Scott's mind back to the present. He picked up the cup gently, but obviously he was not in the mood to drink the tea and was a little absent-minded.

Jean asked in a low voice, "How do you know these? You can't know it. It's Darren Lu. It's him, right? A terrible man."

She didn't expect that he had a crush on Joan. She should have thought of that since she had seduced him and made him embarrassed in the hotel last time.

"Look at you! You're still the same girl! You even don't have the mood to talk to me! The teak tea seems to be a waste!"

Then she turned around and was about to leave. Lowering her head, she glanced at the envelope and said, "These are for you. I don't need them."

Jean stood up in a hurry, but as she was too anxious to get up and almost fell down, Joan subconsciously stopped and pulled her up. She was also frightened by her behavior.

But she shook her head immediately. Maybe that was her nature. She could never be regarded as an evil person.

"I will do whatever you want me to do." Jean was really scared, and the panic on her face could not be stopped.

Actually, Joan only wanted Scott to know the truth. She didn't want people to really think of her as a bad woman. She couldn't be so cruel to others.

She looked at him from the corner of her eye. He was in the same city with her, and they would probably meet each other in the future. It would do her no good to put herself in an awkward situation.

She sat down again and took out her purse slowly to pay the bill. "I just want to tell you that, if you don't want people to know, you should do nothing, you should restrain yourself in a serious way."

"I don't want to recall the past. It has nothing to do with me, and I don'

she let them go and let it go."

From the mirror, he could see him frown. He knew that the old classmate's motto was: to show mercy to the enemy is to be cruel to yourself. So over the years, even if the boss of the company which he purchased was about to jump from the building, he would sign the transfer contract with him before he jumped.

Thus, he added one more sentence in a hurry. "However, the envelope was held in Scott's hand when we left. It has nothing to do with us. It's just a matter between the husband and the wife."

Hearing this, Darren felt relieved. Austin was not afraid of him, so he added, "After all, this is not a business. Miss Gu is not a business person. Don't make it too hard for her. I think she can't learn to be tolerant and kind overnight. It is more important than anything else."

He glanced at her and held her hand in his, trying to comfort her.

"Why are you so nervous?" Darren asked nervously as he saw Joan's small hands were all wet.

Did Jean scare her? Especially Joan, whose face had completely darkened.

"No, it's not." Joan furrowed her eyebrows and demanded, "Darren, can you find a place to pull over?"

"What's wrong?"

She cursed the idiot in her heart, 'What can I do after drinking so much tea?'.

"I can't hold it anymore!"
