"Aren't you curious?" Rachel asked back to him.

She put down the magazine in her hand with a bright smile.

Jack tapped her forehead with his finger and said, "As you know, I've always been obedient to my wife's orders."

The wedding was almost confirmed. Now, as soon as Linda met with Jonathan, the progress was getting faster. Looking at the calendar, unconsciously, it turned out that the second day was their wedding.

Sitting in front of the dressing table and looking at her bright and beautiful eyes in the mirror, Rachel recalled what had happened in the past and still felt as if she were in a dream.

She was so absorbed in her thought that she didn't notice when Jack pushed the door in. It was not until he gently put his hands on her shoulder from behind that she realized what had happened. She patted his hands and said, "Didn't Tracy tell you not to come here tonight?"

"I will definitely come to see if my bride is ready for tomorrow's wedding." The gentle smile in Jack's eyes became more and more obvious.

Rachel turn back and smiled at him. "Of course I'm ready. Besides, it's not the first time I've married you. There's nothing to be nervous about."

"It's different."

With a seductive smile on his thin lips, Jack pulled Rachel aside, opened the cabinet, and took out a necklace, with two rings hanging on the chain.

Rachel recognized the two rings at a glance and asked, "Why are they here?"

These two were their wedding rings before. She thought they had been thrown away when Rachel left last time, but she didn't expect that Jack put them back.

Jack spread out her hand, put the necklace in her palm, and said in a somewhat gentle tone, "Now, I give this necklace to you. If I make you angry in the future, you just take out this necklace, and I will immediately apologize to you."

He raised his hand like a child and swore.

These two rings not only represented their previous marriage, but also reminded Jack all the time how difficult it was when Rachel left.

With a sly look in her eyes, Rachel said, "Okay. Do you have anything else to say? If you don't, you can go back first. It's late now. I'm afraid that your mom will call to look for you."

With a smile on his lips, Jack unconsciously exerted a little strength on his hands that were holding her. Feeling a pain, Rachel shouted, tilted her head and asked, "What's wrong?"

There was a trace of hesitation in his expression. He seemed to want to say something, but finally gave up. He rubbed her head and said in a wide voice, "Nothing. Go to bed early."

The second day, the morning sunlight woke up the sleeping ground through the sky. The rainy days in the past few days finally cleared up this day.

Taking a look at her watch, Rachel felt it was still early and

coma. She squinted her eyes and looked around. Then she stared at Rachel for a while, and tears suddenly rushed out of her eyes.

"Rachel..." Her weak voice and trembling body woke up the sleeping Rachel.

"Aunt Linda? Can you hear me? Great! You finally wake up!" Said Rachel in surprise.

"Rachel, I remember everything." Linda looked out of the window from Rachel. The sky was blue.

"The sky is as blue as it was that day." Linda's eyes became melancholy, reflecting the blue sky outside the window. The melancholy in her eyes made her more melancholy. Linda was still very weak. "That day, your parents were forced to death by Jack's parents..."

His tone was still gentle, but every word was like a knife, stabbing into Rachel's heart.

"Aunt Linda, whose parents did you say?" Rachel's voice was trembling, as if it took her a lot of strength to say that.

"Rachel, they are Jack's parents. Linda stressed the word of "Jack" on purpose.

"Wait! Stop it!" Rachel didn't want to listen any more. She had suffered so much pain and despair for so many years, and the person who killed her parents with hatred was her future husband's parents.

"Rachel, you have to accept this fact. It's impossible for it to pass. You can't ignore it." Her aunt's sobbing voice was like salt water pouring into her wounded heart.

Finally, Rachel decided to face it. She found Jack and looked at his gentle eyes, unable to say anything.

"What's wrong? How is your aunt now? Why do you look like dying? Are you too tired recently? Or do you miss me too much?" Jack teased her, but she couldn't smile.

"Jack..." She looked at him with pleading eyes. "I want to ask you something. You must answer me honestly."

He held her in his arms, trying to soothe the sadness in her eyes with tenderness.

"What do you want to ask? I will tell you everything."
