"How is that possible?" Rachel put down her chopsticks and almost finished her dinner. "Celia's still young and don't know me well. You've known me for many years and make it clear that what kind of person I am."

"I know you are not angry. You go to the hospital tomorrow and have a good talk with her. I guess she has been feeling bad these two days. She can't choose to be born in such a family." Lea felt a little sad, but when she finished her words, she saw that Rachel lowered her head and didn't say anything, which was a little strange.

When she was about to ask, Henry's phone suddenly rang. It turned out that Rita wanted to sleep, but she was looking for her mother. No matter how hard Henry coaxed her, she refused. Now she was crying so hard that her voice was almost hoarse.

After all, her daughter was the most important person. So Lea had to give up and picked up her bag in a hurry and walked out while saying, "Do you know... There is no hatred between good sisters!"

But what Rachel thought was not that simple.

She was afraid that it was not an accident, but someone did it on purpose. And if this person just heard it by accident and leaked it out because of the gossip, then there was nothing to worry about.

She was afraid that the person was arranged by the Ji family on purpose!

Then, their purpose this time was obvious. On one hand, they wanted to give a warning to Celia, telling her that she couldn't enter the Ji family; on the other hand, they wanted to completely cut off the relationship between the Xu family and the Fu family!

Rachel couldn't help shivering.

The second day, when Rachel arrived at the hospital, she saw a gift box on her desk with a card on it.

She opened it and saw only an apology note and a cartoon doll that was bending down to apologize. Although it was not named, it could be seen at a glance who did it.

There was a bowl of plant in the gift box, and it was just right for her to put it on her desk. Looking at these two little things, Rachel couldn't help smiling. Rachel looked at the nursing station outside the door and found that Celia was patiently guiding the way for a patient's family.

When she was busy, time always passed very fast. After taking a look at the report which was only half finished, she stretched herself and was about to get up to pour a cup of tea before continuing. When the door of the office was pushed open from the outside, Celia came in with a cup of fragrant coffee in her hand. Her face was full of flattering smile. "Rachel, this is coffee. Please enjoy yourself."

"Are you not angry anymore?" Rachel didn't take it on purpose. She crossed her arms over her chest and looked at her indifferently.

Celia smiled awkwardly and blushed, "I misunderstood you at that time. Rachel, I hope you won't be angry with me."

Taking it over, Rachel took a sip and praised, "It's really good! Well, I'm not angry anymore. You can go out to work now."

Sometimes quarrels and misunderstandings would make people feel bad at that time, and the

ow voice, "Has anything happened recently?"

Rachel shook her head subconsciously but she thought for a while and finally told him what happened to Marcus. At last, she couldn't help but punch him on the chest. "Why didn't you tell me that his father is the mayor?"

"It's not necessary to say that."

Jack's eyes darkened, "He has always regretted being born in such a family. He is under great pressure."

The atmosphere became a little heavy. Jack pulled the night robe aside and put it on. "Well, don't mind it. I will deal with it then."

However, before he decided to deal with it, the call from the Ji family came by chance.

What's more, it was Marcus's father, Larry, who called and asked Jack to meet and discuss something. Although the details were not told on the phone, it was obvious that it was about Marcus's relationship with Celia.

After hanging up the phone, Rachel saw that he began to take out the clothes for going out from the wardrobe and was about to change. She stood behind him, hesitated for a moment, and said, "Jack, I'll go with you."

Jack took out a dark suit, raised his eyebrows and asked, "For what?"

"I want to hear what he is going to say to you. How is it going? Is it okay to take me there?" Rachel smiled and winked at him.

He patted her head. He had no reason to refuse her request.

The private meeting hall was located at the foot of the mountain. It was well decorated and divided into small rooms, which had excellent privacy. Jack and Larry had an appointment here.

Following Jack, Rachel walked into the innermost private room and pushed the door open. There was a middle-aged man in his fifties sitting inside. His hair was neatly combed behind his head with hair gel, and a pair of thin glasses was set on the bridge of his nose, but it was still unable to block the shrewd eyes.

He was wearing a black suit, which showed his meticulousness and seriousness everywhere.

Jack reached out his hand and smiled, "Uncle Larry, I haven't seen you for a long time."
