He frowned slightly, obviously feeling a little uncomfortable. When he saw Rachel look back, he put down his hand and tried to show an emotionless face.

However, she had seen it.

"Stomachache again?" She frowned, "Have you had dinner?"

Jack hesitated whether to tell her.

Rachel's face darkened. She said seriously, "Don't lie to me."

He answered sulkily, "No, I haven't."

In order to attract someone's attention, Jack told her the truth.

It did work and Rachel showed her undisguised concern.

She came here to supervise him and take care of him, which was the purpose she came here. She treated him as half a patient. When she heard that Jack hadn't had dinner yet, she decided to take some measures.

She pulled Jack to the sofa and let him sit down, as if she was scolding a disobedient child. She pointed at her and said, "Don't run around, and I'll cook you a bowl of noodles later."

When did he run away?

As soon as she finished her words, she turned to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. There was everything in it. Judging from the fresh ingredients, it was obvious that they were put in the fridge just now. Except that day when they went to the supermarket, they hadn't bought anything else.

Someone bought the materials here in the past two days. Rachel took some from the refrigerator and turned around to say, "Tell them not to buy so many."

They only had breakfast and dinner at home.

Jack suddenly had a strong sense of life full of him.

Rachel was very good at taking care of people, which was related to her profession.

She put the noodles on the table. Beef and bean were placed on the top of the steaming noodles, with a beef soup base and a fried egg. The noodles were covered with chopped green vegetables.

It looked like a masterpiece of a chef. Judging from its appearance, it was appetizing, with the aroma of the soup floating in the air.

Jack hadn't had dinner yet. He was attracted by the scent immediately.

There was a lot of noodles in the bowl. When Rachel handed the chopsticks to him, Jack went over and took another pair of chopsticks.

She paused for a second. Then, Jack put the tableware in front of her and said, "It's not good to eat too much for dinner, isn't it? Eating too much it's not good for my stomach."

Rachel said, "But I've had dinner." She was not hungry now. "It doesn't matter if you can't eat them all. It doesn't..." Matter.

Before she finished her words, Jack put two chopsticks into her hand. Then he moved the bowl aside and said seriously, "Don't waste food."

Rachel was speechless. She had never seen him save money.

He took the empty bowl away and moved the chair closer to Rachel.

Then he pu

sat up straight, with a serious look on his face.

"Okay. What do you want to talk about them?" He seemed to know nothing about what Rachel was going to ask.

Rachel blinked and wondered if he really didn't know what was going on.

"I mean... Do you know that your friend, Henry, is with Lea?"

Not knowing if it was a trap, Jack frowned, "Lea? You're good friend, right?"

Rachel nodded.

"I heard that Henry has a girlfriend." He looked up and said, "But I haven't met her. Is she your close friend?"

Rachel continued to nod her head.

With good performance, a hint of astonishment appeared on Jack's face. "Really?"

She no longer nodded, slightly grasped the sofa under her, leaned over and said, "You know that? Or not?"

He observed Rachel's expression carefully. Then he thought for a while and replied, "I don't know much about it."

Rachel frowned and felt a little disappointed, "I thought you knew more."

He laughed and said, "You're good friend of Lea. Why don't you know about her?"

Here was the key point. It was because that Rachel didn't keep in touch with Lea that she didn't know Lea had a new boyfriend.

What's more, her new boyfriend was Henry. This really made her a little embarrassed.

They walked in the same circles and she didn't know anything about it at all.

Wait! Thinking of something, Rachel raised her head and stared at him suspiciously.

Jack asked, without moving an inch, "What's the matter?"

"How could you not know?"

He was startled and had no idea what's wrong with his performance just now.

Rachel leaned back a little with her arms folded across her chest. She raised her eyebrows and said impolitely, "I remember that you and Henry came to my home and happened to meet Lea there. At that time, Lea was in conflict with Henry."
