Jonas was rarely exposed to anything like barbecue. Seeing that Melinda was enjoying the food, he grumbled in his heart as he hadn't stopped grumble out loud.

The meal went on smoothly for Melinda. It would be perfect if Jonas didn't show dislike and grumble all the time. Feeling her bulging belly, Melinda enjoyed the baptism of the sea wind and slowly walked back to the villa.

At night, the sea view was very mysterious and beautiful. Melinda stayed on the balcony for a while.

The sea wind blew a little bit cold. She gathered up her knitted clothes and hesitated when she would return to the bedroom to look less awkward.

But Jonas didn't care what Melinda was thinking. The tiredness of these days was perfectly shown at this time. She took a shower, lay on the bed and fell asleep.

Nothing happened that night.

The next day, Melinda saw a sports car on the seaside track. Considering that there was no food in the fridge, Jonas pulled Melinda to the supermarket nearby to buy a lot of things.

Jonas had to admit that he was not as good as Melinda in the respect of daily affairs.

Melinda didn't want to eat take-out food or barbecue, so she chose a lot of food materials. As a result, she habitually chose many things that Jonas liked.

Maybe she herself had ignored such a small habit, but there were ripples in the heart of Jonas, and he looked at her with a complicated expression in his eyes.

"Mr. Gu, you should know how to put these things in the fridge, right?"

Melinda pointed at two shopping bags with a smile and finally chose words that she thought was more appropriate. Jonas could only put these things in the fridge, since she thought it was not appropriate to expect him to sort the food.

Jonas pursed his lips and didn't retort. This time, he came here with the principle of peace and harmony.

They seemed to know this principle well, but the way they got along with each other was different. The distance that Melinda kept from Jonas, which made the person sent by Emily to break their relationship worried.

In this case, there seemed to be no need to ruin their relationship.

Although Jonas seldom did such trifles, he still had some basic knowledge. He reluctantly put the stuff into the fridge, only to find that Melinda ran to the balcony again to write her novel.

Jonas didn't expect that Melinda could hold on writing for such a long time. It was said that men were the most handsome when they were focused, so did the women.

With a serious look on her face, Melinda looked up and saw Jonas standing at the door with a deep look. She looked at him suspiciously, and then stood up and walked to the door.

Jonas thought that she wanted to go out for a walk, but the reality was that she closed the door silently and left behind a sentence, "Don't bother me."

Jonas had been accustomed to the treatment offered by Melinda now. Since he was on holiday, Jonas thought he should not stay in the villa. After changing into casual clothes, he went out.

The beach had the smell of sea, which was salty and cool with the wind and the heat of waves

hard.

With all the strength she had, she seemed to find an opportunity to vent all the grievance she had suffered in the past five years. With a muffled snort, Jonas pushed Melinda away. She fell to the ground, her mouth twisting in a dismal and relieved smile.

Melinda told herself that since Jonas was drunk, she shouldn't fuss with him, but she couldn't help feeling upset.

She was on the verge of breaking down.

Jonas's behavior was a shame to her. He used to do this every time. When he was drunk, he just had sex with her and didn't care about her feelings. He only acted wildly.

She felt bad, she cried and begged, and what she got was just a more violent treatment. But at that time, she was so silly to love him, even if she was upset and endured to please him.

All of a sudden, Melinda realized that she had been too cheap back then.

Looking at the teeth mark on his shoulder, which oozed a lot of blood, Jonas was a little confused. Melinda slowly stood up and locked the door, leaving him alone.

When Melinda woke up in the middle of the night, Jonas fell asleep on the sofa. Feeling sorry for him, she covered the blanket around him. The next day when he woke up, apart from the uncomfortable feeling caused by the hangover, he felt a little pain in his shoulder and saw a deep teeth mark.

What happened last night had impressed him little. The only thing he cared about was what he did on the sofa like a fool. A shocked look appeared on his expressionless face, and he saw Melinda at the stairs with a wicked smile creeping onto her lips.

Jonas had a feeling that he might have something on Melinda, so he stayed in the villa and moved no more than a kilometer around the villa.

He refused Emily's invitation ruthlessly. He had always wanted to get some information from Melinda, but she ignored him as usual. Every time he asked, she would put on that strange smile.

It was the first time that Jonas knew that Melinda's smile could be creepy.

Both of them were staying in the villa, which was full of a weird and harmonious aura.
