After drinking the wine, Jeremy and Steve returned to the villa. It was getting dark. The villa was so quiet that he felt empty and could not help but feel a little uneasy.

"Sherry! Sherry! Come out!" Taking off his shoes, he sat on the sofa and roared.

He was very dissatisfied with what Steve had said today. Besides, Sherry hung up on him without saying anything. He was in a terrible mood and always wanted to vent his anger.

However, there was no sound except his roaring in the empty villa.

With the alcohol, he directly kicked open the door of Sherry's bedroom, leaned on the door and shouted, "Sherry, come out! Don't think you'll be fine by hiding here!"

After waiting for a long time, Jeremy finally realized that Sherry always waited for him at home didn't come back.

In the face of this empty villa, a sense of loneliness rose from the bottom of his heart.

He felt a pain in his heart, although it was fleeting. He could still feel it clearly.

What did she usually do at home to kill time?

With his eyebrows furrowed, he lay on the sofa. Although he didn't drink much wine, he felt uncomfortable without the sober-up soup that he had to drink every night.

He tried for several times, but still couldn't fall asleep. Finally, he decided to let Sherry come back.

When he called Sherry, there was a hint of expectation in his heart. In the past three years, he had never been like this moment, hoping that Sherry could pick up his phone quickly.

At the thought of that clear and sweet voice by his ear, his heart couldn't help feeling excited and expectant.

At this moment, Sherry was climbing the stairs, with sober-up pills in her hand.

Jeffery Xia was so drunk that he couldn't recover in a short time if he didn't take sober-up pills. Although he would wake up tomorrow morning, she didn't intend to keep him at home for the whole night.

The old apartment was not soundproof.

When they just arrived at the door, Sherry heard that her phone was ringing. The familiar ringtone was specially designed for Jeremy. That phone in the afternoon slipped into her mind again. Her hand shook, and the key fell to the ground.

'What is he calling for now?

Does he still want to introduce me to Steve?'

Sherry's eyes were a little sore. After closing them hard, she picked up the key and opened the door again.

When she opened the door, the ringtone disappeared. Instead, she heard Jeffery answering the call, "Hey!"

She stood at the door. The blood all over her body suddenly became cold.

Stunned for a while, she rushed to Jeffery and took the phone from his ha

nd. "Jeremy, don't misunderstand and angry. Jeffery is drunk. I just meet him by chance. I'm here now... "

The phone was hung up. Sherry was stunned and stopped explaining all of a sudden.

She laughed at herself, shook her head and sat cross legged on the floor.

For the first time, she realized that she could speak so fast, but it didn't make any sense to explain to him? 'He doesn't love me at all, let alone get angry...

Wait, angry?'

Thinking of this, she picked up the phone and looked through the call log with her trembling hand.

There was only one second left before the phone was connected. She could only say one word, "hey." So, was Jeremy really angry?

"Hahaha..." A self-mocking smile spilled over her lips. She recalled the call in the afternoon. Suddenly, the happiness of revenge rose in her heart.

The phone rang again. She paused and pressed the answer button.

"Let Sherry answer the phone!" There was a voice of Jeremy.

He seldom lost his temper before. But today, he roared furiously over the phone.

"It's me."

Sherry answered. Her voice was gentle without frightening.

A clean hand wants no washing. She had nothing to fear. The reason why she was in a hurry to explain her relationship with Jeffery was that his fierce reaction to Jeffery.

Jeremy sneered and said coldly, "come back to the villa right now to talk about the divorce."

Hearing this, Sherry's hand trembled. She held the phone tightly and answered, "yes."

She should have thought about divorce. Now that he was about to send her away, he had to divorce her first!

As if getting the answer he wanted, Jeremy hung up the phone directly.

Stunned, Sherry stared at the phone for a long time. Then she raised her arm and suddenly threw the phone on the floor.

She put her hands over her head and bit her lips hard. Teardrops kept pouring out of her eyes, but she did not make any sound.

'Divorce... Couldn't he wait for two days?'

Her eyes were red, and her body began cramping. She cried for a long time until the water stains could be seen on the floor. Then she stopped crying.

Since Jeremy was so anxious, she... Let it be!

She went to the washroom and washed her face with cold water. After putting on a delicate makeup, she changed her clothes and was about to go out.

When she went to the sofa to take her handbag, she felt that her wrist was suddenly tightened. Turning around, she saw a pair of familiar eyes looking at her sadly. Jeffery begged beryl like a cat, "don't go."

The man's eyes overlapped Jeremy's in her memory, Sherry's heart suddenly softened.
