The second day, Lucas and Sophia went to the residence of Mrs. Derwent. They saw a police car parking by the roadside and a yellow line pulling at the door.

"What happened?" Lucas asked.

"Mrs. Derwent is dead. The servant found her body in the flower pool this morning!" A policeman said.

"What?" Sophia was shocked.

"Did she commit suicide or was killed by others?" Lucas asked.

"There is no injury on the corpse. The forensic expert concluded that it was drowning. It is likely that Mrs. Derwent drank too much at the banquet and fell into the flower pool by accident." The policeman replied.

"What a coincidence!" A sharp light flashed through Sophia's eyes.

"It's okay if she died in an accident. I'm afraid someone wants to kill her to keep the secret." Lucas snorted. It was odd that Mrs. Derwent died.

"Only those who are crazy can kill the nanny who brought them up." Sophia couldn't help shivering. She turned to look at Lucas and asked, "Do you think Edward will be in danger?"

"Edward is his closest person. I don't think he will do anything to him. Besides, I suspect that Edward is also involved in his fake death." Said Lucas thoughtfully.

"But I don't think Edward will agree to such a cruel thing as killing his uncle and his nanny. If they have a dispute, it's hard to guarantee that he won't hurt Edward." Sophia frowned and her eyes were full of worry. Anyway, Edward was her friend.

"How about we visit Edward?" Lucas put his arm around her shoulder.

"Okay." Sophia nodded and followed him into the car.

Perhaps it was because Edward didn't like the noise in the city that Edward built his residence in the suburb of the capital.

The housekeeper told them that [爱德华] had gone out early and was not at home, so the two had to go back to the Royal Palace first.

However, they didn't know that Edward was in the Royal Palace at this time.

"Cousin, the weather is so good today. How about we go hunting in the mountain?" Edward looked at Jasper and said with a smile.

"Okay, cousin. I haven't hunted for a long time." Jasper nodded with a smile.

"I'll go with you." Sara had always wanted to go hunting. Hearing their words, her eyes lit up with excitement.

"Okay, let's go together." Edward shrugged.

When the three of them were about to leave the palace, they met Bonnie who was going to look for Jasper. Hearing that they were going to hunt, Bonnie also wanted to go with them. Edward had no choice but to bring her with him.

Noticing that the color of Bonnie's hair had changed to the same color as Sara's, Jasper smiled and asked, "Why did you dye your hair?"

"I just want to make some changes." With a sweet smile, Bonnie twirled her hair on her chest and asked, "Is this color beautiful?"

"Yes." Jaspe

e front. She didn't hear who he was calling, but she knew that he was talking to her.

When Sara came to her senses and wanted to escape, the wolves had already rushed towards her. The only thing she could do was to climb up the tree.

The wolves didn't chase after Jasper] and Bonnie. Instead, they focused all their attention on Sara. They surrounded the big tree step by step, as if they thought Sara would fall down if she couldn't wait.

In front of the mountain forest, Jasper held the hands of the people behind him tightly and ran for a long time until he could no longer hear the wolves.

"Well, it should be safe now." He stopped and looked back. Suddenly, he shook his hand hard and loosened it. "Bonnie, why are you here? Where is Sara?"

"I don't know. Is she eaten by a wolf?"

"Damn it!" Jasper cursed from his throat and turned around like a tornado towards the direction he came. Thinking that Sara might be attacked by the wolves, he twisted his internal organs into a ball and ran forward crazily with all his strength.

Gunshots came from ahead, followed by the whimper of wild wolves.

"Sara -" He roared and rushed forward.

In the depths of the dense forest, the corpses of several wild wolves lay in disorder. The grass was covered with blood, and there was no trace of Sara around.

"Sara. Sara!" He shouted loudly. There was no response in the forest except the wind.

He looked around and found a shiny object in the bushes. He picked it up and found it was the gold sacred clothes for Scorpio he gave to Sara.

Sara! Jasper's heart almost broke into pieces. Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! He remembered clearly that the woman he was holding was Sara. How could it be Bonnie!

Where was Sara? Where was she? Was she hurt? Was she in danger?

He felt dizzy and looked around like an injured leopard.
