It was over ten o'clock when the first round was over. The horror movie was just finished. Mr. Jack put his arm around the shoulders of Abby and Anne from behind the sofa and said, "Beauties, since you are so bold, why don't we have some fun?"

"Okay, how to play?" Abby clapped her hands.

"Turn off the light. I'll tell you a story about the mansion."

"Is it scary?" Anne blinked her big eyes.

"Of course it's scary." Mr. Jack chuckled.

Sophia chuckled to herself. She had seen many tricks like this to deceive women into throwing themselves at men's arms, but it created an excellent opportunity for Daisy. She was shivering and relying on Lucas. In case Daisy threw herself into Lucas' arms, Sophia deliberately walked over and reminded Lucas, "Mr. Lucas, don't forget that you have an email to deal with."

Of course, Lucas understood what she meant. "Yes, I almost forget. You can play first." Then Lucas stood up and went upstairs.

Daisy looked at his back pitifully, and the loss in her heart was like a torrent of river.

Sophia turned off the light and everyone sat around the round table. Mr. Jack lit a candle in the middle.

Daisy took a pillow and held it in her arms. Although she was scared, she didn't want to go back to the room alone. She had to listen.

Mr. Jack began, "Do you know how many years the house has?"

"How many years?" Abby asked curiously, resting her chin on her hands.

"One hundred and fifty years." Mr. Jack raised his hand and made a gesture of one and five.

"Are you talking about the mansion where we live in now?" Daisy said.

Mr. Jack gave her a thumbs up and said, "Beauty, you are so smart!"

Daisy was not in the mood to pay attention to his praise. A chill was spreading from her back. She slowly tightened her arms holding the pillow.

Abby and Anne looked at each other and asked, "Really? We live in the dangerous mansion?"

Mr. Jack shrugged.

"You know it's a dangerous house, why do you still buy it?" Sophia curled her lips.

"I didn't know until I bought it." Mr. Jack showed a helpless expression of being cheated. Then he began to say, "The first owner of this house is named Gan. He is a county magistrate from the capital. On his way here, he encountered a landslide and was seriously injured. He was saved by a woman from the Hmong clan. Thanks to the careful care of the woman from the Hmong clan, the county magistrate Gan was able to recover. During the time they got along with each other, the two of them had developed feelings for each other for a long time, engaged for a lifetime, and had sex. The county magistrate Gan promised the woman that he would come back to marry her after he settled down. Unexpectedly, after the county magistrate took office, he got to know the most beautiful woman in the city, Miss Zhang. Soon he married Miss Zhang and forgot the women of the Hmong clan. Later, the woman found herself pregnant, so sh

yard was dark. The night wind blew, and the trees were trembling.

Mr. Jack smiled and said, "Beauty, I guess it's just the shadow of a tree. Don't be afraid. There is an old saying in our K Country that ghosts are more afraid people than people are afraid of ghosts. With so many people here, even ghosts don't dare to approach us."

"Well." Abby and Anne nodded in agreement.

Lucas looked at his watch. It was late, so he asked everyone to go back to their rooms to sleep. Afraid of sleeping alone, Daisy pulled the bodyguard to keep her company.

After everyone fell asleep, Lucas sneaked into Sophia's room.

"What are you doing? Go back to your own room. Don't let anyone see you." Sophia stared at him coquettishly.

"I'm worried about you." Lucas smiled and held her in his arms.

"Ha ha." "I didn't do anything wrong in the daytime. I was not afraid of ghosts at midnight. Besides, I am not afraid of anything." Sophia sneered.

"Yes, you are afraid of thunder." Lucas kissed her lips dotingly.

Sophia gently pushed him away and said, "This is a wooden house without sound insulation."

"We can keep it down." Lucas smiled.

In the room in the south.

Daisy tossed and turned on the bed and couldn't fall asleep. Her room was diagonally opposite to Mr. Jack's. There was a low roar coming from there, sometimes high and sometimes low.

She didn't think it was a noise. Instead, she opened her ears wide and listened curiously. Her mind and sanity were completely controlled by it. Subconsciously, she quietly got up from the bed, opened the door and walked towards Lucas' room.

"Lucas, are you asleep?" Daisy gently knocked on the door.

No one answered.

Unwilling to give up, she knocked again.

No one answered.

Biting her lips, she grabbed the doorknob and twisted it, only to find that the door was not locked.

She slowly opened the door and looked inside. It was so dark that she couldn't see anything.
