While they were talking, two rays of fierce light shone from the dance floor. How Lucas wished his eyes could be like arrows, piercing through the heart of the man who dared to talk to her. Although she was wearing a mask, he recognized her at the first sight he saw her, but he didn't intend to expose her. He really didn't know what tricks she wanted to play this time. He managed to restrain himself and was about to let go of her, but she still unconsciously came to provoke him. Did she think he was iron beaten and could endure it reluctantly? Even an iron could not withstand such serious effect.

Lily twisted her body wildly in front of him, eager to arouse his masculine primordial instinct. Unfortunately, he didn't care about her at all, with his eyes kept outside the dance floor. What bothered him most was that she was still holding champagne in her hand, and if she drank it on impulse, the consequences would be unthinkable. Perhaps she would be taken advantage by this man, who accosted her.

This woman was always so confused. How could he leave without worries?

At this time, Edward took the tray from Eva and put it on the table behind. Then he took a glass of champagne from it and handed it to her.

She shook her hand in a hurry, "sorry, I'm allergic to alcohol, so I can't drink."

Edward was shocked. Then he put the champagne back and asked, "is it serious?"

"I have skin allergy." She smiled lightly. She didn't want to tell him that she would go crazy after drinking. She was afraid that he would be frightened.

In the dancing floor, someone whose heart was almost in the throat heaved a great sigh of relief. If she really took it over and drank it, he would have to rush out and take her away immediately. Although he also had this kind of impulse now, he could barely endure it.

Stretching out his hand, Edward said, "let's dance. How about it, Miss Eva?"

"I'm sorry, Edward. I'm still on a mission." With that, she picked up the tray with her hands again. For the last gossip, she was still scared. Even if there was no paparazzi, even if they were wearing masks, they should be cautious. She was afraid that if the public enemy became the public enemy, she would feel bad.

Disappointment was written all over Edward's face. At this moment, a blonde lady came over and invited him to dance. He happily accepted the gift and said "excuse me." then he took the girl into the dancing floor.

"How dissolute and sentimental your highness is! Maybe you sneak out in order to hunt girls and to have fun." she thought to herself.

After the girl left, Lucas breathed a sigh of relief. He was not in the mood to dance. He wanted to take Lily back to her seat. His indifference made Lily a little disappointed. When she walked out of the dance floor, she deliberately tilted her foot to make a gesture of falling. She was supported by him in time and then she fell into his arms.

When Eva saw that s

eling uncomfortable? Your lips are broken."

"No, she didn't." "I just feel a little hot." she said with her teeth set free.

"How about we go out and find a place with no one to breathe in?" He smiled.

She nodded and walked out of the room without thinking too much.

They went up to the roof.

The night was getting colder.

The hanging moon gave off a sense of coldness, and it might be infected by the wind.

The stars fell on the distant sky, staring coldly at the human world.

She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down.

"Are you feeling better?" Asked Edward.

She nodded slightly. "I don't like noisy places."

"You must seldom go out to have fun." He smiled, his silvery green eyes gleaming under the moonlight.

"I don't like to go out." She smiled with self mockery.

He looked at her in silence. He reached out his hand and said, "there are only us here. You can dance with me in peace." It seemed that he knew the reason why she refused him just now was that she didn't want to get involved in any gossip.

"How to dance without music?" She pouted.

"I'll sing." He drew a charming smile and began to sing. His voice was so melodious, as if a clear breeze had touched the silver bell, and a clear stream of mountain stream had flowed through it. She couldn't describe the words. All of a sudden, her annoyance was relieved.

She lifted her hand and put it on his hand. Dancing with him under the moonlight and stars.

"You did a great job, Eva!" He changed the way he called her, intentionally or unintentionally.

"Because I have a good partner." She smiled. If he were not a king, or not the king in the future, they could have become friends.

In the club, Lucas found that Eva was not at her original position. What the hell! He just talked to Lily for a few seconds and she was gone in a blink of an eye. Where did she go? He was in no mood to dance. He looked around the hall but didn't find Eva.
