Legend said they came to clean up everything, Creatures who bowed to no one made for one thing and as their name implied any mess made up by the supernaturals.

I took in a deep breath as I watched the bald porcelain skin humanoid creatures approach me.

They were going to kill me, I was sure of that but what u didn't know was what I did.

"What do you want?" I asked still panicky.

I didn't know if they could speak English since they mingled with no one.

They answered me alright but I was right, they only sounded like wounded animals. The only thing I could make out was Kroni.

Did they work for him?

That could not be possible especially when I remembered who Kroni was to me again. They were here for me.

My eyes then caught the sight of a man. At least he looked like one. He was dressed in a black suit that suited him perfectly and had long hair he packed behind his head. It was gelled perfectly and gave it an even darker shade. He had the face of an Angel but his eyes, they were soulless as demons, his skin was porcelain too and I figured out he was a cleaner.

"So you're with them?" I asked, trying not to see how bad my situation was right now.

The man walked forward, getting closer to me with each step. He eventually stopped when he could scent me.

I could feel his white skin against mine, polluting it.

"So you're the one they hid for so long." He muttered.

I exhaled, finally getting why they were here.

I was the one fated to break the seal and they were here to clean me, a pleasant term for murder in cold blood.

Fight them, You can take them, A voice I didn't even know existed in me said.

I coughed, ready to give them the empty threat I had made up in seconds, "I suggest you leave, you don't know what I can do."

"Death is but a term." The man retorted, "But that is what we are here for and we were right. Your powers have been unlocked. How those feels Devil's spawn? The power?"

Cleaner or no cleaner, this dude was a jerk. 'Devil's spawn'. Now that I knew that he and his cohorts weren't going to back down, I was more than ready to face my death with bravery.

"So you are here to kill me then, I suppose..."

"Yes. It's what we do but before that, the Fae Queen w

clamp shut.

"Thank you." I appreciated but she didn't reply.

She only waved her hands around and like magic tricks I watched on YouTube, a bracelet appeared out of nowhere.

I gave her my hands accepting my fate to be powerless once again. The jewelry fit perfectly even if it felt like cuffs.

"Valerie, " The Fae queen began sounding like a worried mother, "I've lost my brother before and I know how it feels to be in what you are now but you have to understand that you can never break that seal."

I nodded, that was what she wanted after all.

I wasn't going to let Kristy suffer.

I thanked her again for saving me and left.

The morning sun was out, bathing the world in its light. Frank was outside waiting for me.

"How did it go?" He asked when I got to him.

"I got a new accessory but at least I'm alive."

He giggled and continued discussing with me, "So on the phone, you were talking about Lilith, why?"

"Fr—" I trailed off seeing someone walk towards us.

The limping figure got out of the sun's flare and I instantly ran to him.

I hugged him tight, closing my eyes and glad he was safe.

He returned my hug and I was sure he was smiling. This was what he had always dreamed of after all.

I opened my eyes to see Frank, but there was something different about him.

His smile was gone and his emerald orbs we're now daggers pointing dangerously at McCoy.

I couldn't place it, he was just happy a second before.

Was he jealous?
