Jenny walked into the room when the makeup artist was doing the finishing touches of her daughter's make up. She stood at a reasonable distance and admired Lauren as the makeup artist did magic on her face.

"You're one of the most beautiful brides I've ever seen. It's a pleasure to have worked with you, ma'am. Congratulations on your wedding." Jessica, the MUA said.

Lauren blushed, "Thank you!"

With the help of her assistant, Jessica parked all of the makeup items into the box and dashed into the room next to Lauren's room-where the bridesmaids were, to do their makeup.

Wrenny rose to her feet and that was only when she saw her mom, leaning against the wall, slightly deep in thought with a proud smile plastered on her lips.

"Mom, how long have you been standing there?" Her mother was all dressed up in a beautiful designer dress and matching heels. Her makeup was done and her hair was fashionably parked, making her look so gorgeous.

Jenny bridged the gap between herself and her daughter.

"I was thinking of the first time I held you in my arms. You were so precious, so tiny and the most beautiful baby I ever laid my eyes on. You've done nothing but filled my life with happiness and I'm so grateful you chose me to be your mom."

"You and your Sister are my motivation in life. You two keep me going even when nothing seems to make sense to me and nothing else matters than your happiness and that of your sister."

"It's every mother's dream to see their child in their wedding attire, walk down the aisle and get married to the one they love. I'm happy that I'm alive to share this day with you."

Lauren smiled as she reached for her mother's hands. "I'm glad you're here with me. Thanks for all the sacrifices you made and will still make for my sister and I. I love you so much, mom."

"And I love you more Princess. Between, you look very beautiful."

Lauren blushed, "Thanks, Mom."

"I was a bit worried I was going to look huge because I'm pregnant. I really want to look gorgeous for Stanley."

"Oh dear, Your wedding dress really did justice in making you more beautiful. You look nothing close to huge. Trust me, Stanley won't be able to take his eyes off you."

Lauren smiled.

Her Mom led her to the edge of the bed where they both sat down.

Jenny intertwined her hands with her elder daughter's own.

"You're happy right?" She asked even when it was evident that Lauren was.

She nodded. "Very happy."

"I'm also very happy for you my dear. I'm happy you're getting married to the man of your dreams, a man that loves you even more than he loves himself and I trust him to take very good care of you and my Grandchild."

"Stanley is a good man and I'm glad you two are together. I wish you could feel how happy I am, you two truly deserve each other." Jenny said sincerely. She never had a happy married life with her children's father but she wanted her children to have a happy home and no doubt Stanley was going to make Lauren happy for the rest of their lives.

"I don't know what I did to deserve someone like Stanley. I'll forever be grateful to the universe for making our paths cross."

"Good communication is one of the secrets to a healthy marriage and I'm glad you and Stan are experts in that department."

"There are times where you two will be tested. And in that case, I want you to always be patient. Trust and love him like never before, try to always listen to his side of the matter. There will also be rough times and if or when that happens, I want you to give him a shoulder to lean on. Let him understand that he can open up to you and you'll always be there for him."

"I understand the tiny insecurity that is still in your mind but I assure you that not everyone is like or will be like your father. Stanley is a good man and I have no doubt he will live the rest of his life making you and my grandchildren happy."

"I'm so happy for you my child, I wish you and Stanley a blissful marriage."

Lauren smiled and pulled her mom in for a hug. "Thank you Mom, I love you."

Jenny smiled. "I love you too baby."

"Maybe you should just stick to myself and your grandchild for now."

uren said sincerely. She was proud of how far Alexa has come in her drawings.

The little girl beamed. "Thank you!"

"What about you Uncle Stanley?"

"Oh princess, you deserve a bunch of kisses. This is brilliant." He passed the frame to Lauren, picked Alexa up in his arms and showed her face with kisses which made her giggle loudly.

Lauren placed a kiss on Alexa's cheek too. "I'm certain your baby cousin loves it. Thank you, my love."

"Make sure you thank my Daddy too because he helped me get the frame." She said and Stanlaur replied with a positive nod.

"So Alexa, where do you want us to place the frame?"

"Stanley and I's room, Peanut's room or our main living room?" Lauren asked which got little Alexa thinking.

"Please can you put it in your main living room? I want everyone including visitors to see it. Don't worry, I'll make another one for your room and peanut's room." She promised.

Lauren smiled, 'No problem sweetheart."

"Look at my favourite couples!" Jake announced as he and Anita approached Stanlaur and Alexa who was still in Stanley's arms.

"Alexa just gave us the most beautiful wedding gift. Isn't she so adorable?" Lauren said as she proudly showed off the gift Alexa gave them to her mom.

Anita smiled proudly. "I'm so proud of you baby." She took Alexa from her brother and kissed her forehead.

"Wrenny, how long will you two be gone for your honeymoon?" Anita asked.

"Maybe four or five weeks, Right?" She asked Stanley who shrugged. Lauren had no idea how long they will be gone for or where they are going for their honeymoon because Stanley didn't mention a thing to her. All he told her was that everything was a surprise and she will know when they get there.

"Jake, you're his best friend. Any idea?" Anita asked Jake who seemed engrossed in his glass of red wine.

"Confidentiality requires me not to say anything, ma'am." He replied.

Anita shook her head in disbelief. "You guys are gross."

"Anyways, You guys should have so much fun but don't forget to be back on-time for the baby shower."

"We will be back before then, " Stanley assured.

Anita rolled her eyes, "Says my brother who cannot even confide in me on where he is taking his wife for honeymoon."

Jake and Stanley chuckled. They refused to say a thing to Anita because they do not want to ruin the surprise.

For Stanlaur's honeymoon, the two lovebirds were going to be touring their favourite parts of the word, including where Lauren had once told Stanley she wished to visit.

Anita's birthday will fall on the last day of Stanlaur's honeymoon so Harry, Anita's husband had made plans with Stanley and Jake.

They were all going to travel with their family to where Stanley and Lauren were, to celebrate Anita's 35th birthday.
