Alondra went out and headed to the kitchen to look for the tea. After a couple of minutes, she went back to the room with the hot tea in hand. She saw him silently eating his biscuit. She put the tea on the bedside table.

"Sir, please drink this so your headache will disappear. I really am sorry for what happened.i didn't get to ask who you are because you've accused me of being a harlot. It skipped my mind that I was changing my clothes when or heard the noise. So I hope you just forget what you saw."

"I didn't see anything." He said in a cold voice then he sipped his tea.

She felt awkward seeing him almost bare naked again. She picked up all the clothes on the floor and the cross she threw at him earlier.

"By the way, why were you kneeling with a cross in hand earlier if you are not a prostitute?" He asked.

"I thought there was a ghost."

"Damn!" He exclaimed while his hands was on his lips.

"Sir, what happened?" She asked worriedly.

"It's hot." Then he glared at her. "Ghost? You thought I was a ghost? That's crazy."

"I never thought that someone else would come here. Besides they say that if a place had been abandoned for too long..." she hugged the dirty clothes then bowed, "... it will be inhabited by ghosts. That's why

I really thought there were ghosts here. I just want to help your soul find peace."

She thought he would get angry so she was astounded when he burst into laughter. "A restless soul." He went on laughing while he held his head. "Oh God! My head hurts. This is all your fault."

"A-are you angry at me again, Sir? Did I do something wrong again?" She felt like she couldn't do anything right. "I'm sorry..."

He just lied to his bed and yawn then motioned his hand. "Go now. I'm really sleepy."

"Does your head still hurt?"

He closed his eyes and answered, "I will be okay."

"Happy birthday, Sir, " she whispered.

He had his eyes closed but he smiled. "Thank you."

She didn't know why her heart felt tingly when he thanked her and when he smiled. He did look kind. Maybe it was just because he had been hurt. Anyone who was stood up by their bride in front of the altar on their wedding day would probably hate the woman race just the same. She just felt happy to hear him laugh.

But what if he wakes up the next day and be back to being snobbish? She had to sleep early if that was then. He might throw her out when he wakes up the next morning. He can't see her when he wakes up. She must be out of the house before he even throws her out.
