Jayda could not help with the smile that took over her face when she looked at herself in the mirror. The red dress Sebastian bought for her fits her perfectly and with the little makeup she applied, she looked very beautiful, like Cinderella, waiting for her Prince Charming to arrive so they can proceed to the event.

Jayda had no doubt she looked like a bag of money. She had the most expensive dress, jewelry, and shoes on.

But she was a little bit nervous. Never had she attended any charity event filled with only billionaires in the room. Zach had invited her on so many occasions when they were still dating but she would decline, using work as an excuse.

Jayda heaved a sigh, reached for her clutch which had her phone, credit card and keycard to her apartment. Then she made her way to the living room to wait for Sebastian.

Before she could take a seat to relax a little, the doorbell rang and she went ahead to open it.

She came face to face with the most handsome man in the world, her baby Daddy and very own 'Sebby'. He was in his dark suit, he had smiles on his face and was holding a bouquet of red roses.

Sebastian was blown away by the gorgeous angel who stood in front of him. He had ask Lilian for her clothes and shoe size before picking the outfit for her. Seb knew all the men in the event will have a hard time keeping their eyes off her but he will be by her side all through and give them the necessary glare they deserve, to make them understand that she was only his.

"Hi." Jayda greeted with a smile, bringing Seb out of his thoughts.

Sebastian closed the gap between them and caressed her right cheek.

"You're the most beautiful woman I've ever laid my eyes on." He said sincerely as he looked into her eyes.

Jayda blushed, "Thank you."

He kissed her cheek and handed her the roses along with a box of chocolates.

Sebastian assisted her in arranging the flowers in an empty vase and soon enough they were good to go.

They made their way to Seb's Car that was parked right outside her apartment. He helped her settle in the front passenger seat and then he made his way to the Driver's seat.

"You really have such a great taste. Thanks for the dress and my Jewellery, I love them." Jayda said.

Sebastian smiled, he wasn't used to someone thanking him for everything and this woman right here, the love of his life, the mother of his firstborn and future kids thanks him for every little thing.

"You're welcome, babe. I'm glad you like them." He reached for one of her hands with his free hand and gave it a light squeeze.

"I hope our little bean has not been naughty in there." He asked, took a glance at her, before returning his attention back to the road.

Jayda chuckled, she could see the love, adoration, and eagerness in his eyes as he spoke about their baby.

"It's still tiny so I can't say much. I guess he or she is well behaved but has no mercy when it comes to my morning sickness."

Sebastian smiled sadly, he wished he could be there for her during her morning sickness. He had no problem asking her to move in with him but he didn't want to scare her away. He had an idea of how hard mo

and I don't even know if I will be able to be a good mother to my child. Maybe we should stop whatever is going on between us. You deserve so much more and I don't want to break your heart." She completed, trying to hold back tears.

"Look at me Jayda." Seb persuaded and she did just that.

He caressed her face, "You don't need to allow anyone to make you feel less of yourself. You're a great lawyer and I promise you that you'll be a great Mom."

"We've all made mistakes in our past and we can only learn from them and move on. Three days ago, you agreed to give me a chance and we've been doing great together, we communicate from time to time and you also made time to accompany me to this event."

"I'm not perfect and neither are you but for the sake of what we feel for each other, we will make this work."

"Just like how motherhood is new to you, the same applies to me, I've never been a father before. I don't mind registering us for baby classes so we can learn what we need to know."

"Look, what I'm trying to say is that I believe in what we have and the bond that we share. As far as we are together, we will figure things out."

"We will also make mistakes but we will learn from it and that is how we will grow."

"I've lost you once and I don't want to lose you again. Let's have faith in what we feel for each other and please fight for me as I will always fight for you."

"You promise?" He asked and she replied with a positive nod. He kissed the back of her palm.

Sebastian didn't want to leave Jayda to herself, drowning in the thought of her not being good enough, so he made a proposed.

"Instead of dropping you at your apartment, would you accompany me to mine instead?" He asked with a puppy dog face.

"I'm scared of leaving you alone drowning in thoughts from the past. Please come with me, I promise not to do anything stupid, we will chat and have a good night sleep."

"Does that mean we will have to stop by my place to park an overnight bag?" She asked.

"It's up to you, I'm fine with anything."

"Okay, we will go to your place then, " Jayda replied.
