-'Rude!'-

My everyday line in my head every time he didn't comment anything. No 'thank you' or whatsoever after giving his orders. I told you, he doesn't know the word thank you. It doesn't exist in his vocabulary.

Madi's POV:

"Tell me Madi, why do you have to apply for another job? You already have your own fine dining restaurants. Three big freaking restaurants in the City. And you're not lacking out of money, in fact you almost give the half of them to your charities. God! Aren't you feeling exhausted?"

That's Noelle. My best friend and a manager to one of my three restaurants operate in the City.

"Because I told you it's also my dream since college. That's why I also took a business degree to fulfil my bucket list of dreams." I tried to reason out with her but still she couldn't understand my point.

It's been a month since I started working as a PA at Wilsons Electronics Corporation under the management of Mr. Gabriel Wilsons, our CEO. And let me tell you, the pressure of working in the biggest company in the City of Chicago is sometimes slipped out of control.

Running there and everywhere, faxing papers, e-mailing documents, checking and updating my boss's schedules and making his coffee three times a day, we're just a small part of my everyday routine.

Of course my duties and responsibilities as the owner of my own business 'everyday' is not yet included.

"Besides, it's part of my job, feeling tired and exhausted. Come on." I waved my hand on the air and continued checking some papers for my signature. We are currently at the back office of my first restaurant which is 20 minutes drive from the building of WEC.

It's Sunday today and it's my day-off, so I can use my whole day checking my three outlets.

"Yeah, but you're not getting any younger. You're already 26 years old, single, no boyfriend since birth and a freaking virgin in all department, Forgodsake!"

Thank God, this is a soundproof office so I don't have to cover her mouth even if she screams out of her lungs.

Since she found out that I got the job at Wilsons, she started to keep on rambling and rambling on me.

"Hey! Stop mentioning my age and my status." I just chuckled at her bringing the glass of orange juice to my mouth.

"Okay fine. So, tell me, how's your boss's attitude towards his employees? Is he someone like you, considerate and warm?"

I almost choke on my juice hearing her words. My boss... considerate? I don't think so, I'm not sure. Warm? Haha.. the total opposite.

He's like a walking ice man every day. No, the right word--- zombie, cold and lifeless. There's something wrong in his personality that I couldn't figure out. He's a man of few words...Nah! I mean one word.

"Honestly, he's the total opposite of the boss you're imagining."

"What do you mean, the total opposite?"

"Well, He's cold, a bit of rude and an arrogant sometimes. He doesn't know the word thank you and he likes to shout every time--- anytime especially when he found something wrong or errors on your reports, tsk. tsk. He will not give you any choice, it's either you get your ears ready or get ready yourself for your work to say bye-bye."

"Ohh, that harsh?" she said in disbelief.

"Yup." I said popping the 'p' in the end. "But, thank you to my skills and abilities, I have never been shouted by him since day one." I stated proudly with my chest out and an arched eyebrow.

"Pss!" she rolled her eyes. "Wow! A loner and aggressive boss and a narcissistic PA works in one. Yeah, I am really doubting on how you two can manage to interact with each other."

"Me? Narcissistic?" I acted horrified and pointing myself. "Of course not! I'm just stating some facts about myself."

"Exactly, what you're doing."

I didn't counter her back. I just laugh and take a sip again of my juice

"Hmm.. by the way, how can you describe him physically?" she has this malicious look in her eyes.

I sighed rolling my eyes. How can I describe him?

"How would I describe him? Hmm.. well let's just say he's a living Hercules of the country. Happy?

"Oh shit! Describe exactly that living Hercules from head to toe!"? all her round eyes were on me.

"What? Seriously?"

"Yes! Because if that's true, you have a fucking hot of a boss! Yum!" she squealed while clapping her hands. I shake my head and rolled my eyes again.

"Okay.. he's hot. Handsome if you will look on his face, having brown eyes, perfectly sculptured nose, chiselled jawline... what else... hmm.. broad shoulders, toned and muscled chest, I guess?"

"You guess?"

"Yes."

"You just guess? Are you kidding me?" she furrowed her eyebrows.

"Well, I haven't seen him shirtless or in any attire rather than his business suit. What do you expect?"

"My God, Madielyn! You just made my imagination's wild. Hmmp! How about the size of his foot or at least his shoes? For sure, you can see those every day!"

"Why do you need to know the size of his foot and shoes? Why? Are you planning to buy him a new one?" I tried to throw a joke but I'm just the one who laughed at my own joke. She glared at me.

"You wouldn't understand because you're a virgin!"

"What the-----"

"Just tell me the size of his foot!"

"I don't exactly know the size of his freaking foot, just his shoes!"

"So, what is it?" her eyes were round as saucers.

What's happening with her?

"Uhm.. 10.. 11? Maybe 12?" I answered bringing the half glass of juice to my mouth.

"Oh, Jesus! He has a huge and long member!"

She exclaimed loudly that causes my eyes widened and I split the juice all over her blouse as I cough. I even coughed so hard when I saw her awful face. I really wanted to laugh at her state if it's not for this coughing.

"Yucks! you're disgusting!" she complains while wiping her blouse with tissue.

"I'm sorry." I'm trying not to laugh. "But it's your fault. You can't control your mouth saying those----"

"What? Saying those gross, nasty, dirty, filthy words like huge and hard member, penis and coc----"

"Noelle! I swear, I'm not going to discuss again my boss's body to you! You really have a dirty mouth!"

It's now her who's laughing at me. I arranged my signed documents inside the folder and pushed it towards her.

"My God!" I said getting up and stretching my arms.

"Where are you going?" she's still laughing.

"I'll just go out for some random chechickI huffed and walked towards the door.

"Okay."

It's my weekly routine when I visit each of my outlet. Random check on its area and the employees.

I went first to the kitchen where my staffs are busy cooking and preparing orders. Since its Sunday, our customers are doubled numbers than weekdays.

"Good morning, Ms. Madi"

I was greeted first by the group of waiters taking their customer's order.

"Good morning, guys. How's your day?"

I treat them as all my friends and not just an ordinary employees. As they say, if you want to earn respect from others, treat them the way you want them to treat you back.

"Well... tiring as always. But we're happy because our beautiful boss visit us today. Right guys?" Tony winked at me, he's our head waiter.

"Yeah." they all answered in unison.

"Wow, thank you. Such a small thing--- beautiful? Nah... I already know that." I said grinning proudly while patting my shoulder in act of wiping dirt.

And they chuckled and some are shaking their heads.

"Yeah. See? That's what we're talking about. You always make us laugh."

"Why? Am I not beautiful?" I joke on a horrified face.

"Of course you are. You're beautiful inside and out, Ms. Madi. You just really like to carry your own chair not just sometimes but always."

And they laugh again and I also laugh together with them.

We're always like this. I always make a way to have at least a small conversation with them. Even if sometimes I carried my own chair, but it's worth it if that's the way they would open themselves to me, not just as their boss but as they consider a friend.

The next area I went to visit is the dining hall. And yeah, it's really a tiring day. They were all busy serving and assisting customers.

People rarely see me inside and out of my restaurants. I always keep myself in a low profile. I check the reports and happenings on my business usually through my phone and computer. I am showing my face once or twice a week or whenever there are some papers that needs my signature or my appearance personally.

There were just a few people who knows that I took another course, my mom, and my friends after I opened my first restaurant.

I took Hotel and Restaurant Management course in college. After I graduated and started my business, I enrolled in an online school for Office and Business Management and got my degree.

My first job as an 'employee' was a Department Manager but I resigned after one year. I applied again as an HR assistant in a not-so-big company in the City. And after a year also, I saw the ads on social media that WEC needs a PA to the CEO.

I tried my luck and got the job. I didn't put my first course and my business when I submitted my resume. In short, my boss and the company I am currently working at doesn't know about it.

After random checking in the restaurant, I say my goodbye to Noelle and drove to my another outlet.

I spent my whole day visiting my stores and checking some important papers.

I only headed home when it's already 6 in the afternoon. I lived in a small apartment and having a roommate which is a bank manager. She also knows my business because we're living together for 2 years and the reason why I decided to live in a small flat.

After eating dinner, we seated in the living room and watched some romance movie of Hallmark. But since tomorrow is Monday, I walked early to bed.

- - -? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Waking up early is not so new to me ever since. But, since I hate mornings, I still put a one hour time allowance before I go to work every day.

Because I'm telling you, almost all my time in the morning I am taking such as these; first 5 minutes-- sitting in the bed, stretching and doing nothing. Ten minutes-- checking my phone, e-mails and text messages from my managers, my mom and don't forget my boss. Another ten minutes-- preparing my clothes, fifteen minutes-- taking shower and talking to myself in the mirror. And the last minutes I have to spend it wearing my clothes and doing makeup.

So sometimes, eating breakfast is not included in my daily routine.

Entering our office building, I started to wear my natural smile. I am twenty minutes early so I don't have to run my feet getting late. I still have time to say 'Hi' and make a little 'chat' to some other employee who greets me.

Well, not all of them likes me. There were also several of them, especially those who are members of my boss's fan's club.

And the two members of that fan's club were Ailene and Jenny. They hate me for being their boss's PA, in short.. they envied me. They were talking nonsense and I just choose to ignore them like I always did every time I see them.

Walking out from the elevator, they turned their way left with scowl on their face.

I haven't put down my things, when Sandy the CEO's secretary came frowning in my office door.

"I've been calling you in the lobby, but you just ignored me!" she said with a knitted eyebrows.

"Ohh, I'm sorry. I didn't hear you."

"Hmmp! It's okay. I just want to give you this." she has a brown paper bag on her hand.

"What's this?" I asked accepting the bag from her.

"Hmm, it's just chocolate cupcakes. I brought you some because I know you skipped breakfast every day." she rolled her eyes.

"Ahh.. you're so sweet. Thank you." I hugged her and she patted my arm. She's just 4 months ahead of me. And like me, she also suffered from Jenny and Ailene's bullying club when she's just starting for work.

"Wait! Is the boss here?" her eyes widened.

"Relax, we're a bit early. He hadn't come yet."

"Haist!" she sighed and I chuckled.

"Thank you for this." I lifted the brown bag.

"You're welcome. Just let me and my new boyfriend come in your restaurant and eat for free." she winked at me wiggling her eyebrows and I laughed.

"So, that's it. In exchange for this cupcakes----"

"Just kidding!" she laughed together with me.

Besides my friends, I also let her know my secret. And she promised to keep it to herself until I say so.

"Nah! Seriously, just text me or let me know whenever you want to go there and it's on me. And if you want to ask your boyfriend for a date, just call me."

"What? I admit, your idea is really good and tempting Madi, but no way in hell I will ask him on a date and paid everything for him! Just no way!"

I laughed at her bitter reaction.

"And why is that? You know, it's a give and take for a relationship to work."

"Don't tell me, you're willing to do that when you're dating?"

"Why not? Like I say, it's always a give and take in a relationship. You need to learn that process if you want the both of you to work."

I explained not noticing our boss stopped his trance in front of my office door. We continue our conversation.

"But you're a girl Madi, and he's the guy!"

"And so... what if he's a guy?"

"So, he should be the one to pay the bills on your dates and handle all your needs! He should be the one taking all the efforts on your relationship!"

I can't help myself laughing.

"Sandy, why are we talking about money here? We're talking about relationship. And as I told you, if you want your relationship to work, you should learn the give and take process. Whether you're a guy or a girl, you need both to give an effort to your relationship. Being a girl doesn't mean, you can't ask your guy for a date."

"Ohh.. that means your generosity has no limits!" I rolled my eyes. "I'm going to set you on a blind date!" she smiled evilly.

"A blind date?" my face turned sour with her idea.

"Yes, a blind date!" she repeat proudly.

I am about to complain when the hidden figure? at the door spoke and walked towards us.

"No one will set a blind date to anyone, especially when you're at work." his cold voice rang to our both ears that causes our eyes turned wide like saucers.

"G-Good morning, Sir." Sandy greeted him first stuttering.

"Good morning. Mr. Wilsons." I greeted him in a high chin. It's still 10 minutes before our official time in, so we don't have to worry about being caught chatting by our boss.

"Ms. Aguilar, had you finished those papers that I gave you yesterday?" he asked her but his eyes focused on me. I didn't look down, I just gulped the lump in my throat. His cold stare brings sparks down my spine. It's weird, but I tried to look away and glance at Sandy who's looking down on her feet.

"Yes, Sir. I'll bring it to your office immediately."

She said but he just ignored her.

"Ms. Davis, bring me my coffee and my schedules for today." he said not leaving his eyes on me.

"Yes Sir, right away." I managed to smile and turned around to break his freaking stare. Sandy excused herself and walked to her office which is just in front of mine.

"Whew!"

I sighed when he walked out 'finally' from my office.

I went to the pantry to make him his first coffee of the day.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Knocking on his office door, I heard his cold voice inside saying 'come in'.

I take a deep breath before entering the door. The cold atmosphere in the room mixed with his cold voice sending goosebumps all over my body. Right there on his table is the cold and heartless CEO, Gabriel Wilsons. He has the five o'clock shadow and a pink pair of lips that I almost dream to kiss.

I shake my head with my naughty thoughts.

"Mr. Wilsons. You're coffee, Sir." I put it on his desk. He didn't say anything. He didn't even look at me.

-'Rude!'-

My everyday line in my head every time he didn't comment anything. No 'thank you' or whatsoever after giving his orders. I told you, he doesn't know the word thank you. It doesn't exist in his vocabulary.

"Do you need anything else, Sir?"

"My schedules."

-'Oh.. I forgot.'-

I mentally rolled my eyes and recited his schedules for the day.

"Anything else, Sir?" I keep my smile on my face.

"Nothing so far. You can go back to work." he said not looking at me but on the papers on his hands.

I didn't waste any seconds, I walked to the door.. only to stopped by his cold voice.

"Ms. Davis."? I immediately turned around. "Call Ms. Aguilar, when you walk out." he then turned his eyes back to the bunch of papers.

That's it. The second word that doesn't list on his vocabulary, besides thank you, 'Please'.

-'You're welcome'-

Came the voice from my mind.

"Okay, Sir."

I sighed loudly while making my way to Sandy's desk.

"Sandy." She looked up when she heard my voice. "Mr. Wilsons wants to see you."

"Oh... okay."

I chuckled as she startled. I don't know why she still hasn't used to our boss's cold and strict demeanor.

"Relax. He won't eat you." I tried to joke but she just huffed loudly.

"Yeah, I know. And I don't get it, how you managed yourself to stay cool and relaxed in front of him!"

I need to cover my mouth to stifle my laugh.

"Maybe because I am also a boss?" I whispered laughing while looking around.

"Oh... yeah, I forgot. How silly of me. Hmp!" she takes the red folder on top of her table and walked to the door. I followed her out.

"Good luck." I chuckled teasing her.

"I hate you!" and I laugh more before walking back to my office.
