"He is right Eva." Kevin looked at me. There was something buried in his eyes that I couldn't be sure of and it scared me.

"Are you out of your mind! What are you trying to say?" I almost yelled and that made him flinch.

"Let it be Eva. It's fine." Kevin sounded so normal, as if everything was as normal as 2 hours ago

And it scared me.

Ride back to home was quite. Robin stayed there, after informing a mechanic. And in Kaden's car we four were sitting like statues. As if we all had forgotten how to breathe.

Eddy parked the car in front of my house. But I was no mood to leave Kevin like this. Somehow I had a feeling that if I leave him now, he would do something that wouldn't be good for both of us.

To my surprise, suddenly Kevin said, "Come on Eva, let me walk you to the front door. His voice sounded dead. The very atmosphere was getting heavier with our every foot thuds.

We stood there for a whole minute awkwardly."So. . ." hearing his voice I flinched. There was something in that tone. . . As if. . .

"Evs. . ."

"Yes" I whispered.

"Tomorrow you are coming right? "

Relief washed through my whole body, "Sure. . . Sharp at 10 sir!"

"Okay, bye, Goodnight." he hesitated.

"What? "

"Can I get a kiss? " he murmured.

"As many as you want." I Laughed and tiptoed to match his height; he immediately took me in his arms and leaned. The kiss began much the same as usual. Soft and sweet. And then something seemed to change. Suddenly his lips became much more urgent, and when he stopped it was abrupt; he pushed me away with gentle, firm hands.

"Go and try to sleep Evs. Good night." he pecked on my lips one more time.

"Yeah good night."

I looked at his retreating back... Until he sat in the car and out of my view.

I went to bed, and was happy of what had happened 1 hour ago. Drowsiness took over my eyelids. I dozed off.

I was halfway asleep, maybe more, when I realized what his face had reminded me of something. It reminded of same Kevin when Alisha came to in

It's because of Eddy right? What he said yesterday, you are. . . Kevin I don't think like that. . . You know that right?" Tears started to brim. The whole world in front of me blurred.

"No there is nothing to do with Eddy! See Eva... I am just tired of pretending! I thought that I love you enough to go through all ofl these, but I am sorry." he snapped.

"You actually are serious?!" I mumbled.

"I am."

I stared back, still hoping it was nothing but joke. "Okay." I was surprised by how calm and reasonable my voice sounded. It must be because I was so numb. I couldn't realize what he was telling me. It still didn't make any sense.

"Then I must go...I shouldn't be here anymore." I whispered.

He just stared at me, and I couldn't see a single apology for what he had just done.

"See, I told you that you won't be able to give me what I want." He laughed.

I opened my mouth to say something, and then closed it again. He waited patiently, his face wiped clean of all emotion. I tried again.

"Whatever you want."

I wonder what he saw on my face, because something flickered across his own face in response. But, before I could identify it, he'd composed his features into the same stoney mask.

"Good. Then we are done. You don't need to come here from tomorrow. I'll manage Mum and Dad. Goodbye. " he extended his hand.
