The young policeman stood up, and mumbled in a low voice, "It's useless to call him here. It's you who is going to be embarrassed when he arrives." As he said that, he frowned unwittingly. He wondered why he had suddenly changed his mind after he had already refused Brian. He walked out of the room after giving Brian a keen look. He finally admitted to himself that he was intimidated by the horrifying chill from Brian's eyes. The cold aura made him change his decision unconsciously.

The director of the police substation took his time to come to the station. On the way to the interrogation room with the young policeman, he rebuked the young police in a grouchy tone, "Aren't you capable of dealing with this yourself? Since you want my help with such petty issues, how about letting me have your salary as well?"

The policeman felt bitter and was clearly ashamed. He didn't want to get his boss here either, but Brian's burning eyes had scared him so much that he had consented somehow. There was something unnatural about that man; where he presented, a dark aura surrounded him. He tried to reason his boss, "Sir, that man is dressed in an expensive designer suit. He doesn't seem to be an ordinary drug dealer. I agreed to let him talk to you because I felt that we might end up in trouble in case he really is somebody important."

The director rolled his eyes at his subordinate as he opened the door and entered the room in which Brian and Molly were waiting. He said, "Don't you already know that criminals sometimes pretend to be someone important just to—"

The director didn't finish his sentence. He stopped in his tracks as if he had hit a brick wall. He froze in place when he saw the person in front of him. Brian was whispering something to Molly, who was sitting beside him. The director's eyes bulged out and the corners of his mouth began twitching. Seeing the expression on his face, the young policeman stared at him in confusion. He didn't fully understand the situation, but he knew that something was wrong. In a cautious tone, he asked, "Sir... What's wrong?"

The director came back to his senses when he heard the policeman's question. Without taking his eyes off the man who was sitting in

other Mr. Longs do you know in A City?"

The young policeman furrowed his brow in confusion for a moment and then just like a bulb had gone off in his head, his eyes popped out in recognition. He just stood there, staring at the director in shock. "How—how could— But—" he mumbled. After a while, he said in an amazed tone, "They were having so much fun together with the street dancers. I really don't understand these rich people..."

Molly was tired from their one-hour trip to the police substation, which all seemed like a total farce. Sitting in the backseat of the taxi, she turned to look at Brian, who had an indifferent face as usual. Her hand was wrapped in his—it had been from the very beginning of this ordeal. She called his name, "Bri..."

Brian hummed and looked towards Molly. With his eyes, he silently asked her what the matter was.

"Isn't this all so weird?" Molly asked with a frown. "I don't know why, but I feel like I was targeted. It's somehow unbelievable that this was just an accident."

Brian wore an almost invisible smile on his thin lips. He said, "Yeah. You were targeted."

"What?!" Molly exclaimed. She was shocked by the truth and surprised by his honesty. She only had a suspicion; she didn't think that Brian would confirm it without thinking. "Why?" she asked.

"Let me deal with that, okay?" Brian said softly, gazing at Molly. "When we reach home, you get some good rest and sleep tight. Just think of this as some weird dream."
