"Autumn, please take it." Charles told her coolly. He knew that Autumn did not care about these things. It wasn't about the value of the bracelet. It was more about the sentiment surrounding it. That was the real reason why Autumn was so hesitant to accept it.

Autumn turned around at Charles with an embarrassed look.

Abby walked over to Autumn, took the bracelet and put it on Autumn's wrist, "Take it. Cindy has the other one."

Since it is already around her wrist, Autumn was too embarrassed to take it off. The only thing left for her to say was, "Thank you."

Emily was happy with what she had witnessed with a little help from Amy who told her what just happened. "I'm a little tired and want to go rest."

Abby helped Emily stand up, "Aunt Emily, let me help you. Your room has been readied and mother had also prepared the laundry for you."

"Thank you so much, my child." Emily smiled and spoke to Autumn and Charles, "It is late. You should go home to also have some rest. I know that you have a lot of work ahead of you tomorrow."

"Alright, grandma." Autumn agreed as she helped Emily get together with Abby. She also apologized to Arthur, "Grandpa....... Grandpa, please take care of grandma Emily for me and call me anytime if you need me."

"You have nothing to worry about." Arthur smiled. "Your grandma Emily is in very good hands."

"Your grandpa is right, Autumn." Amy also stood up, "You can come over and see her whenever you want."

Arthur and Amy watched Autumn and Charles as they left, never looking away as their silhouettes grew smaller and the car turned around the corner. When Autumn could not see them in the rear-view mirror any more, she turned into her seat and sat in silence, looking straight ahead.

She rubbed her bracelet while deep in thought.

"What are you thinking about?" Charles asked.

Autumn forced a smile and said to Charles, "I don't know why, but I feel so e

go too far." Ryan said with no expression, "I am still the deputy general manager of this company. I want it to do well. I also want to make my contribution. What's wrong with that?"

"No, there is no need for that." Autumn continued, "You take the day off. I will pay your salary on time and you don't have to come to the office any more. Do you have any problem with that?"

"What do you mean? Are you firing me?" Ryan looked at Autumn in shock. His blood running cold. "Don't forget what you said when we signed the contract. You can't fire me."

"Oh, stop overacting." Autumn countered, "It's just a vacation for you. Wages will still be paid. How can it be a dismissal?"

"So what would it be if it was not a dismissal. I'm not that old to retire." Ryan stared at her. "You are pushing me too hard, Manager Ye."

"If you feel that the salary is too low, you can choose to resign on your own accord. Anyway, it's all your own choice, but from now, it is no longer my business." Autumn stood up and said, "You are no longer welcome in this company, effective today."

"Manager Ye, you can't do this to me. Let me tell you, I will never let you do this to me..." Autumn left Ryan's office wile he still kept screaming in her back, but she just chose to completely ignore it.
