Emilia's P.o.v

Sighing, I lazily slid on my shorts before putting on a tank top. I wore a light weight kimono on top that I bought at a shop here. Slipping on sandals and tying my hair up in a ponytail, I sadly fall back on the bed that I slept alone in last night. Alton didn't return. It made me worry so much I couldn't have rest of mind which kept me up.

A single tear escapes my right eye and slides down my cheeks before falling onto my folded hands. Looking down, I sniffle and crinkle my nose before I looked up. This was our last day here. I'd he spending the last of my honeymoon with Alton crying and sulking. The weather was beautiful, the sun was out. Instead of enjoying it all with Alton, I'd be in here. It was truly pitiful.

I just didn't understand why Alton would say I was cheating on him with Sean when it wasn't true. I hadn't even been in any contact with him since our elevator ride together. I thought Sean would've understood finally and left us alone. I was wrong.

Would our relationship truly be over?

I couldn't dwell on it long because my stomach growled in hunger for food. Sighing once more, I stand and make my way out of the room. I wouldn't starve myself but I was afraid of seeing Alton. My stomach churned uncomfortably. I didn't know if my heart could take seeing Alton, I didn't want to see how hateful he'd state at me.

I stepped out of the elevator and allowed my eyes to roam the lobby that didn't have much people. Alton was nowhere in sight but Loren was. She caught sight of me and smiled brightly, tilting her head, she waved me over to her. Rolling my eyes and biting my lips, I walked over to her.

"Hello Emilia, how are you?" she asked, leaning against the counter.

Her elbows propped against the desk, her hands held her head as she stared at me.

"Good, thanks. You?" I only asked to be polite.

"Just wonderful, " her voice was filled with joy.

Eyes actually taking her in, she did look a little more happy than usual. My eyes caught sight of her right hand and I paused, losing my breath. She wore a ring that looked like Alton's wedding ring. Alton's fingers were bigger than hers so it couldn't be his ring. No way.

She notice my staring at her hand and straightened up with a smirk. Extending her hand, she have me a better look at the ring.

"You like it?" she asked, biting her bottom lips.

I didn't know what to say. My heart was beating out of my chest, my eyes stung with tears that wanted to be shed. My heart felt like someone punctured it or stabbed it a million times. I swallowed, my throat dry.

"Where-" I paused, trying to keep my tears at bay, "I mean who-"

"Gav

ad your ring. He said you and him were together alone and you left it in his room, " Alton tries to remain calm but I hear the anger.

I pull away from him and he wipes my tears.

"That's a lie. I don't even know where his room is, " I whispered, "why did you believe him?"

"You kept lying to me, Emmie. I didn't know what to believe when you kept telling me you hadn't lost your ring. Why didn't you tell me that in the first place? " he asked.

"I was scared you'd hate me, " I said quietly, dropping my head.

He lifts my chin with his finger, smiling gently at me.

"I could never, " he tells me.

I grin up at him and he smiles. He takes my hand and we end up in our room. Alton takes out a small plush towel, wetting it before putting it up against my lips that were bleeding previously.

"You were so overcome with jealousy you fought for me. How sweet, " Alton teased with a smirk.

I glared playfully at him before wearing a smirk of my own.

"Don't think I didn't notice Sean's broken nose, " I stare at him suspiciously causing him to bat his eyelashes innocently while I laughed.

Getting serious, I remove the towel Alton holds against my lips.

"You do know that Loren and Sean did this to us right?" I asked and he nodded.

"Of course and we are going to confront them for ruining our honeymoon like this, " Alton demanded.

I nodded in agreement and we stood. Before we could leave our room, Alton wraps his arms around me, giving me a back hug. Surprised, my eyes are wide before I slowly melt in his hold and smile.

"I love you, " he whispers.

"I love you to, " I respond happily.

He releases me but holds my hand and we walk to the elevator. We arrive at the lobby where a surprise a waits us as we see Alton's mom and dad.
