"Stay tuned for the further adventures of…me." He whispered.

The spaceport bar on Caries still looked the same. Patrons were sitting at tables, socializing and drinking. The same restful music was playing in the background. On the wall behind the bar, somebody, presumably the owner, had put up a new sign that read:

'DEAR PATRONS, PLEASE DON'T KILL EACH OTHER, IT'S BAD FOR BUSINESS – HAVE A DRINK INSTEAD – OR TAKE YOUR FIGHTS OUTSIDE, PREFERABLY AFTER SETTLING YOUR BILLS'.

Somehow Adam couldn't help feeling that was directed at him, at least partly. He doubted the other patrons could read anything more complicated than 'opening instructions inside' in any case. At least he couldn't see a sign saying 'DON'T SHOOT THE PIANIST', but thought that there would have been one if the place had an actual pianist. But then, that was Marsha all over, ever the optimist.

She was still there – Adam spotted her behind the bar, serving drinks. She looked up at him as soon as he entered. He smiled at her coolly and he saw her face light up. Then she saw the scratches on his face. There was something he could see in her eyes – concern – but she tried to cover it up as she walked determinedly towards him, her long Spanish dress flowing around her like water around the hull of a boat. She stopped in front of him, and rested her hands threateningly on

…Who it was she wanted to settle down with. If in the end she really wanted him. In the end, relationships are built on trust and how can there be trust without honesty?

He pulled her close to him, oblivious to the stares from the patrons in the establishment. The bar seemed to fade away around them and they were alone together in their own private little universe. Two suns in orbit around each other, forming a binary star of their own. Just the two of them, and nothing else mattered in the realm of the Answered Question. He reached to her ear with his lips and kissed it tenderly, before whispering into it, his name.
