I felt my heart break and anger for him.

"He s-said he couldn't stop thinking about our ni-night together" She Lets put quietly.

It was early hours of the morning, about 4AM, and she was telling me the story.

I hated seeing her like this. I hated seeing her cry and I hated seeing her stop mid sentence because she couldn't carry on.

"H-he said I was the be-best he had" she mutters, squeezing her eyes shut- probably at the awful memory.

"W-what did I do to de-deserve this?" She cried out.

I pull her closer to me, feeling extremely upset and protective.

"You don't deserve this Cal" I say, my voice breaking mid sentence. "You don't deserve any of this"

She wiped away her tears, trying to stop herself crying.

"I don't want to talk about it anymore" she whispers and I nod.

"Okay. I'm not going to force you" I tell her and she hugs me, throwing her arms around my shoulders.

"I love you Shawn. I'm tired. I haven't been able to sleep at all" she almost whimpers.

"I know baby" I say, running my hands through her hair

se? You haven't left your room except when you went to that party" I suggest and she nods.

"But let's just lay here for a bit" she says with a shy smile, "I want to cuddle" she adds, her cheeks flushing pink.

"God, I love you" I say, my heart pounding against my chest. She was so cute.

She blushed, smiling before pouting slightly.

"Now lay down" she demands and I roll my eyes but do it anyway.

"Now cuddle me" she says and I smile.

"You're so bossy" I pout, wrapping my arms around her.

"Shut up" she laughs and I smile.

"Truth hurts princess" I say with a wink and she giggled.

I was happy she was happy for now. I know she wouldn't be soon because she will be left with her thoughts.
