Recap:

Unknown POV:

Riley, I'm coming for you and you can't escape me again. This time, you don't have a choice but to come back to me. I will be the most powerful man in town once again. I'll make sure you don't escape ever again!

-----------------------------------------------

Riley's POV:

The party was terrible, I almost got humiliated and I punched Kyle in the face. What made it a little bit better was seeing my dad back home after two weeks. I'm so happy that he's home. I get to spend time with him again and ask him how Brazil was. Ever since last night, I've been trying to keep calm so my dad doesn't find out about what happened to me last night.

Suddenly, he came in my room with a smile on his face.

"Good morning, princess."

I got out of my bed and hugged him.

"Hi, dad. I'm so happy that you're back from Brazil."

"I missed you too."

"So, how was your night last night?"

"Terrible. What about you?"

"Long, tiresome. I'm a little jet lagged though. Why was your night so terrible?"

"Well, the party I went to was horrible."

"Tell me everything."

"I rather not talk about it."

"You know you can tell me everything right?"

"I know."

"Alright, get ready for school."

"Okay, I'll be downstairs in five minutes."

Five minutes later.........

After getting ready, I went downstairs for breakfast. As I got there, I sat around the table, waiting for dad to join me. He joined me and we ate breakfast together. I think this the first time we had breakfast together since he came back from Brazil. I am so glad he's back.

~School~

I arrived at school and parked my car in the parking lot. After parking, I grabbed my bag and met Carmen and Jamie by the front door. Then Kyle saw me, but looked away.

I didn't utter a word to him, ignoring Carmen and Jamie. Sorry guys but I need to be alone right now. I went to my locker and Carmen approached me.

"Riley, why haven't you been answering my calls or text messages. I feel like you're avoiding Jamie and me. Is it because of the whole Kyle situation?"

"Sorry, I just need to be alone right now. See you later."

Then Kyle approached me.

"Can we talk?"

I walked away, avoiding him, but he quickly grabbed my hand. So, I flipped him over me and glared at him. Then I walked away from him and Derek approached me. I flipped him off and went to class.

~~~~~~
~Lunch~
Kyle's POV:
After Riley flipped me over and left, I got up and saw her flip Derek off. Then she went to class. Why is she avoiding me? And where did she gain strength like that? Four classes later, I'm at my locker about three lockers away from Riley. She came to her locker and switched her books. Then she left. Suddenly, everything went dark. What the hell?
Riley's POV:
After getting my books, I went to the cafeteria and everything went dark. Why am I
Rodney was lying lifeless along with his entire gang. Ally was frozen in shock; mortified as I stared at the lifeless body at my feet. Dad avoided eye contact with followed by Kyle, Carmen and Jamie.
"Are you leaving?" She asked.
"Yes."
"Are you going to come back and visit?"
"I don't need to, " I answered her.
"Why? You're just going to leave me here all alone?"
"Who said I was leaving you all alone? I'm bringing you back to your family. I'm not coming back because there's no point in coming back."
"Are we still friends?"
"I don't know. After what I saw earlier, I don't even know who you are anymore."
Then we left the warehouse.
Dad and I arrived home and he sat on the couch. He gestured me to sit next to him so I did and he cleared his throat. I bet he's going to ask about what just happened. I really don't want to talk about it but I have to tell someone and Dad is the only person I trust. I don't know if I could trust Carmen or Jamie. I won't even mention Kyle because I don't trust him one bit. Yet he was dragged into all of this.
The moment was awkward, too awkward.
"All this time, you kept this secret from me. I feel as if I don't know my own daughter, " he barely glanced at me.
"Dad, I-, " I began to say.
He sighed, getting up from the couch. "See you in the morning, Riley.
He didn't call me, princess. Great, now I feel like I broke his heart.
