I finally made it to Training Room B after what seemed like forever, I opened the door and found Tyler doing endless chin-ups, something I could never do.

"Tyler?" I called out. The place was deserted and judging by the view outside, it was nighttime. Tyler froze and dropped from the bars. He turned around slowly and when he saw me nudge myself through the door he ran towards me with a huge smile on his face. He leaned down and hugged my tightly, crushing my remaining functioning limbs. I said nothing as the oxygen was forced out of my lungs by his strength. Once he let go, I took a deep breath and smiled at him sadly.

"I'm so happy you're alright, I've been waiting for days!" He exclaimed happily, beaming at me.

"Days? I've been unconscious for days?" I asked incredulously.

"Yeah, " he replied with a frown on his face. I hadn't seen him in so long, I missed him, but that wasn't what I was here for.

Before I delivered the blow, I decided to ask, "Why weren't you in the hospital room waiting for me to wake up?"

Tyler gazed down at me with a playful look. "Well, you were out for days, and... Grayson was there."

I gaped at him, "you're my boyfriend and you're telling me that you didn't sit at my bedside because Grayson was there?"

"Well..." he trailed off, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Whatever. Tyler, I'm sorry, but I'm breaking up with you, " I stated, gathering all the courage I had. Tyler laughed for a moment, but stopped when I realized I wasn't joking. Him saying he wouldn't sit at my side because Grayson was there gave me all the more reason to end things.

"What? Seriously?" He questioned incredulously.

"Yeah, " I said as I turned around and started to reach for the door.

"Why? Because I didn't sit at your bed?" He continued, ange

s frozen in place, I couldn't understand what was happening. Just then, the door opened revealing a surprised Grayson.

"Well that's fucking awesome, " he snapped before returning back into the apartment. My brain started to work again and I tried to run away with my crutches. I felt like I was going too slow to make a difference, but I was determined to live.

Just then, I felt a small pinch in my right shoulder and I turned around, only to find Grayson holding a tranquilizer gun. I smiled at him, heartbroken. I couldn't feel much pain, emotionally or physically as the drug ran through my body, shutting down my senses. I wondered how I didn't see it, how I didn't put the pieces together. He always knew things he didn't, like in France when she knew about the gang leader and her secret agenda with me. I should've seen it coming, but I didn't.

Because I was in love with him.

As Grayson walked over to me with a cocky smirk on his face, I used the last bit of energy I had to say, "I broke up with Tyler. Grayson, I chose you."

The last thing I saw before I slipped into unconsciousness, was the sad, broken expression Tyler had given me when I'd left him for the traitor.
