How can he find out so soon? Only Arnold was with me when I met with Constance and even so, I had begged him not to tell Shehzad because I was going to do that myself.

"It doesn't matter how I found out; the fact that we are talking about is that you, my wife, despite knowing how much I despise that woman, met with her behind my back!" he hissed at me.

"N-no it's not like that. . ., "

"Then what is it like?"

"I was going to tell you just now." I said very calmly though my heart trembled. This was new side of Shehzad that I was witnessing. I have never seen him so angry before. He looks so malicious, his beautiful face torn between hate and hurt and his light eyes ablazed with the flames of malevolence and odium.

"That's bullshit. If I hadn't found out early on you would've never told me. How can you betray my trust like that? And here I was thinking that you weren't made for betrayal." He sneered. I felt hurt when he said that; my heart sank.

"It is not like that Shehzad; like always you are misunderstanding the situation." I stated courageously but his glare silenced me.

"How does it feel having stabbed me in the back?" he inquired sharply as he stood up and walked around his desk ad to me. He stood like a tower; tall and lean and fearless, cemented on his stead. "Looks like you proved yourself to be any other average backstabbing bitch. Well?. . . . . what the fuck do you have to say for yourself?!" he shouted in a high pitched voice that I cringed with fear and shocks of dread trailed down my spine.

I was frightened because I had never seen such insidious aura enumerate from Shehzad—there was so much negativity radiating from him that it was scaring me to the point that it made my heart shake—but a part of me urged me to stay headfast and confront him; now wasn't the time to show any weaknesses. I took a voluntary step behind and proceeded to take a seat on the sofa behind me. I was surprised by how calm and composed I was being and when I gazed at my husband's face; it was the utter mask of surprise.

"If I were the so called-backstabbing-bitch, " I repeated the exact same words but very seriously and calmly. "I would be telling you how it feels like to be betrayed. Now you know don't you? No, that's just a fraction of how I felt when I found about your affair." I said icily and narrowed my eyes at him. He was silent but his eyes had a melancholy look in them that I almost pitied him but I couldn't now.

"You have no right to accuse me of anything when I am not even guilty; I was coming here to show you this, " I quickly pulled out Sophia's picture from my jeans' pocket. "Your mother explained everything to me and she asked me, no literally begged me to take you to meet your sister. I know that it might sound, " I stopped when I heard him laugh out dryly with a sinister edge to it.

"I can't believe that you fell for her lies; what a dumbass idiot you are Khadijah, " he said wryly. "Don't tell me that she got you to believe all that cancer crap about herself."

"How could be so cruel to say that. . . . A woman would never lie about having terminal breast cancer. She realized her mistakes and was very sincere. And what's more, she is losing her only family that she ever loved."

"Oh I believe it, " he said coldly.

"Then?" I challenged.

"I just think that it's still not enough. She needs to suffer more." He said in a voice as cold as the peeks of the Himalayas, his eyes as hard as steel. I felt as if my heart was stabbed a thousand times when I saw another face of his—the one which is empty of all human sympathy and emotions. I flinched just thinking about it.

"S-Shehzad, I cannot believe that you're saying such heartless things and about your own mother no less." I said in utter disbelief.

"Just take a look at the picture." I demanded, stretching the picture to him.

"Fuck it!" he yelled, slapping my hand sharply away; I gasped as the photo fell near the fire place and almost managed to be safe from the fire. "I don't care what that hag wants; there is no way in hell that I would ever do to give her the satisfaction of winning me over." He claimed boastfully.

My eyes bulged out of their sockets. "Why Shehzad?" I said breathlessly. "Why are acting this way? Can't you just forget the past and forgive her already. She is your mother and she has suffered enough. She tried her best to get you back but your father stood like an iron wall between the two of you; he's the true guilty party to that incident. Yes, it's true that she did leave you behind and now she's suffering the consequences of her actions but believe me, I saw it in her eyes that she regretted it and not a day has gone by

SHE WOULD MAKE MISTAKES AND SHOW HER IMPERFECTIONS LIKE PLAYING THE VIOLIN, HAVING A MALE FRIEND AND ETC ETC, YOU GUYS KNOW THE REST. PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT KHADIJAH TO BE PERFECT BECAUSE SHE ISNT. SHE WILL MAKE MANY MISTAKES JUST AS MANY OF US DO BUT OF COURSE SHE ALSO ASKS FORGIVENESS FROM ALLAH. AFTER ALL, ONE OF THE BEST TRAITS OF BEING A MUSLIM IS THAT WHEN WE MAKE A MISTAKE, WE KNOW THAT IF WE SINCERELY ASK FOR FORGIVENESS FROM ALLAH, THEN HE WILL MOST CERTAINLY FORGIVE US BECAUSE ALLAH IS ALL-MERCIFUL AND ALL-FORGIVING, THE MASTER AND LORD OF ALL THINGS LIVING AND NONE-LIVING; SUBHAN ALLAH. IT IS ALLAH WHO HAS PROCLAIMED THAT IF A NATION DOESNT COMMIT SIN THEN IT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ASK FOR MY FORGIVENESS SO I WILL MAKE ANOTHER NATION IN THEIR PLACE WHO WILL COMMIT SIN AND WILL REMEMBER ME AND ASK FOR MY FORGIVEN.

AFTER ALL, IF WE DONT MAKE MISTAKES THEN HOW ILL WE LEARN AND MOVE FORWARD? MOST OF US REMEMBER ALLAH THE MOST WHEN EITHER WE ARE IN TROUBLE OR IF WE HAVE COMMITTED A SIN.

SO, CRITICISE BUT NO TO THE POINT WHERE YOU GUYS WOULD EXPECT KHADIJAH TO BE AS PERFECT OR AT LEAST AS DEVOUT AS YOU BECAUSE WE ALL VARY; THATS THE BEAUTY OF BEING A HUMAN; WE ALL HAVE DIFFERENCE IN OPINION AND WE DIFFER FROM ONE ANOTHER.

SO, PLEASE ACCEPT KHADIJAH FOR WHO SHE IS TRYING PORTRAY HERSELF TO BE AND DONT EXPECT HER TO MEET YOUR STANDARDS BECAUSE THAT WONT HAPPEN. YOU GUYS ARE GREAT MUSLIMS MASHAA ALLAH AND I PRAY THAT ONE DAY PAKISTAN COULD ALSO BE LIKE THE TRUE ISLAMIC STATE THAT IT WAS DESTINED TO BE AND FOLLOW ALL THE PRICIPLES OF ISLAM BUT BECAUSE OF MANY ASPECTS, CULTURE BEING A HUGE PART WHICH IS BASICALLY DERIVED FROM THE HINDUS AT THE PUNJAB AND SINDH SIDE (WHERE KHADIJAH COMES FROM) WE PAKISTANIS CANNOT REJECT THOSE TRADITIONS THATS ARE ALSO UNISLAMIC TAKING MUSIC FOR AN EXAMPLE, BECAUSE, WELL, THATS SSOMETHING THAT WE ARE RAISED WITH; I HAVE XPERIENCED A LOT OF CURRUPTION IN MY LIFE AND I AM ALWAYS AMAZED AT HOW MANY MUSLIMS ACT AND LIVE THEIR LIFE KNOWING THAT SOME OF THE THINGS THEY DO ARE UNISLAMIC AND ARE HARAM E.G I HAVE HAD MANY CLASSFELLOWS WHO, DESPITE BEING MUSLIMS, HAVE MANY MNAY BOYFRIENDS AND THEN THEIR ARE MANY WHO EVEN COMMIT FORNICATION ASTAGFIRULLAH AND THERE ARE MANY OTHER ASPECTS AS WELL WHICH I WILL NOT UTTER. THESE ARE THE REASONS THAT PAKISTAN IS SUFFERING SO MUCH--DESPITE BEING THE SECOND LARGEST MUSLIM STATE IN THE WORLD WE ARE STILL COMMITING HARAM ACTS LIKE SOOD, ZINA, DRINKING ALCOHOL AND GOD KNOWS WHAT AND THESE ARE PRACTICALLY HAPPENING IN THE MUSLIM COUNTRIES, TAKING UAE AND MANY OTHER MUSLIM STATES AS WELL ESPECIALLY SAUDI ARABIA FOR AN EXAMPLE.....THE LIST GOES ON ABOUT THE TRECHERIES AND MISHAPS OF THE MUSLIMS........SO WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY IS THAT, THE WORLD ISNT AS GOOD OR AS SAFE AS WE THINK IT IS-- THERE IS A LOT THAT SHOCKS US OUT OF WITS EVERYDAY. SO, TRY TO UNDERSTAND THAT EVIL WILL ALWAYS BE THERE BUT AS LONG AS ALLAH IS THERE AND WE SINCERELY AND TRUTHFULLY AND BLINDLY BELIEVE IN HIM AND ONLY WORSHIP HIM THEN THERE IS NOTHING THAT WE HAVE TO FEAR EXCEPT FOR ALLAH.

SO I HOPE THAT YOU ALL WILL UNDERSTAND.

SO, VOTE AND COMMENT. THANKS FOR UNDERSTANDING. LOVE YOU GUYS
