Chapter Eleven - "I Hate Cats."

Avery's P.O.V

"I... It's best if you don't know."

What the hell is that suppose to mean? Does that mean something did happen that I don't know about because I passed out as soon as I touched the bed? Of course something happened because he would tell me if it didn't. Besides, he was laying in the bed with me when I found the photos all over the school so something did happen.

"Avery! Get your ass down here!" I hear my father yell and I sigh, hopping out of my bed and running down the stairs to see my father waiting for me with his arms crossed over his chest.

"What is the meaning of this?" My father asks, flashing a piece of paper in my face. I knew it was about the suspension but I grab the paper anyway, reading the heading of the letter.

Yep, it is about the suspension.

"I got suspended, duh?" I say, rolling my eyes. I am too tired to deal with my father right now so I got straight to the point.

"No shit." My father says, narrowing his eyes at me.

"So, what is much consequence going to be now? Mowing the lawn? Cleaning the dishes? Hanging out the washing? Scrubbing the toilet?" I say, counting the duties on my fingers. My father let's out a groan and I watch as he runs his hands down his face.

"Your such a pain. No, I'm not going to make you do any of that. Instead, I have a way better idea." My father says, a small grin starting to form. My straight face turns to shock.

Oh hell no.

Okay, your probably thinking I'm a mind reader but I'm not. I just know what he is going to say since I remember him talking about it to me a few months ago.

"I'm going to make you try out for the cheerleading team." My father says and I gap at him.

No, no, no!

"No, please! Anything but that." I whine, pouting at my father. You would think that your father would say either football or soccer, not cheerleading because your father would think that it is dangerous and inappropriate because of what they wear but no, my father is different. He wants me to be like my mom who was the cheerleading captain back in high school. My mom agrees too, saying that it is a fun sport and it can help you stay fit. I only know my father is saying this because he knows I want nothing to do with the girls in the cheerleading squad. He is only doing this to torture me.

Yeah, my family is strange.

"No, Avery. I have told you plenty of times. You have to learn to behave and not start fights with people at school. I am only doing this because I know you don't want to do it and this is a way of teaching you to behave so you know not to be violent or misbehave again." My father says and I shake my head.

"Its not going to work. You kno

" I ask, changing the subject. I place the kitten on my bed and she cuddles up with my pillow, probably trying to get warmth. I pull the blanket over her just a little and watch as her bright blue eyes are no longer visible. I smile.

"Well, after many pleads and begs, he finally said yes. I told my mom and she said yes almost immediately. So, all we have to do is try out for the stupid team." Claire says and I nod.

"Anything happen at school today?" I ask and Claire shrugs.

"Katie's friends weren't there and the boys weren't that annoying to me that much but Logan... he didn't come to school. I wonder why that is." Claire says, slightly frowning at me. I gap at her and roll my eyes.

"Claire, he is a bad boy. He probably skips heaps of days off school. What do you expect? That he didn't go because I wasn't there?" I ask, raising my eyebrow. Claire shrugs and sits on my bed.

"I don't know, I just find it wierd, that's all." Claire says and I roll my eyes.

"Mhm." I hum, gathering my paper that is sprawled across my desk and placing them in a neat pile at the corner of my desk.

While doing this, I couldn't help but ask myself about Logan's whereabouts.

Oh who cares, he is probably doing what he usually does which is screwing girls like the player he is.

Hello people! Third update in a row, yay! Am I on a roll or what? Ha, jokes but anyway, did you like the chapter? Remember, in chapter eight, Avery missed out on Claire's birthday so Claire is throwing a party so remember that. I probably won't include it in the book, I'll just summarise it but yeah.

By the way, why do you think happened between Logan and Avery? Thoughts?

Please vote and comment. Have a great week, everyone!
