"You know, you always have an awesome entrance, " I said after a long while of chilling silence.

He didn't answer while he continued walking through the beautiful meadows of the Underworld with his hooded cloak trailing behind him.

The palace was in the opposite direction which leads me to believe that we were heading somewhere else. A few minutes later, my eyes landed on the glittering surface of my river. Though it's not mine, I have grown very fond of it.

"Are you going to take me back home?"

"No." he snarled.

This stopped me dead in my tracks, and realizing that I wasn't following him, he too came to a stop.

"Not until Zeus leaves, " he said a few seconds later, sounding more composed, but the cold edge to his words remained.

I became frustrated. "Why are you so angry?"

"Why were you even with my brother?" he hissed, turning back to face me.

I sunk back as his eyes burned into my soul, leaving mere ashes behind. To explain it in a simpler manner, let's imagine me as a cartoon character. My soul would have run away screaming, only leaving a pale body in its escape. But I did a good job of hiding it from him.

"You didn't even let me explain the whole situation, and for the record, he was the one who stalked me and asked me for a favor. And so it was you who is a misunderstanding the whole scenario. But that doesn't mean that you can tear apart my house and kidnap me, and the worst part, you didn't even bring your beautiful horses." I exploded pointing my fingers angrily at him.

And in its wake, a ghost of a smile played on his lips.

"Did he harm you?" he inquired after a few seconds.

"Why should he harm me?" I answered his question with a question.

He seemed to think about it for a moment, and then answered.

"He probably wouldn't hurt you, but he has a keen interest towards things he knows he can't attain, " he warned his words a different version of Zeus's original statement.

"Hades is it true that Zeus tricked you into getting the Underworld as your domain?" I asked as he started to walk to the end of the deck.

Okay, that was the wildest guess I took because it kinda explained the pained look Zeus took on whenever he talked about Hades which head to such a conclusion.

But it still might be a bad guess.

"yes, it is, " Hades answered already walking onto the deck.

I went silent for a few seconds due to shock. So it's true.

Zeus is going to pay!

I can't believe that I let him into my house, even worse, I let him drink coffee!!

"Why didn't you do anything if you knew the truth?" I asked, knowing that I was pushing my luck now, but he stayed silent.

"Do you hold a grudge against him?" I changed my question.

He turned back and for a second I thought that he was going to blast me. I managed to give him a smile.

"No., " he said plainly.

He sat at the end of the deck leaning against the railing with one leg bend and the other stretched and I sat on the other side, facing him.

"Do you like your home?"

He looked at me straight in the eyes when hearing the word home. Something in his eyes flickered. "I

appreciating myself at the success.

Straining my neck, I looked back at him again, with a childish smile illuminating my face.

"Thank you."

My eyes widened to the shape of saucers. Did Hades just thank me? Am I dreaming? Or have pigs started to fly?

Seeing my appalled expression he chuckled.

And for the first time, I felt as if Hades had let his guard down around me. But I couldn't entirely live through the moment as my eyelids started drooping.

I rested my head against his chest, feeling drowsy. "I will get up soon I..I just need a little....little time, " I mumbled.

"I will take you back home, " he informed, encircling his hands around me protectively, preventing me from tumbling into the waters.

And there was a time when he tried to drown me in the same water.

I chuckled dreamily at the thought.

"It's don't have to bother, " I mumbled, already half asleep. The sleepless nights, finally taking their toll.

"When was the last time you slept? he asked as if reading my thoughts.

I blinked my eyes open. "A day and a half." I yawned, replying.

He narrowed his eyes.

" I slept for..for two hours back" I paused trying to get the number of fingers raised right "then."

As soon as I was done explaining, I brought my legs closer to my chest and curled up in his lap. The haziness surrounding my mind, never made it question the sanity of my actions. I slowly lost track of the place and time, succumbing to sleep.

"Isn't it uncomfortable?" he asked.

" No, " I said immediately getting alert.

"it's not. It's not. It's very...." I struggled to get the right word till I found it.

He ran his fingers lightly through my hair as I leaned against his chest, once again sleep claiming me. "You are a lunatic."

He didn't have to tell me, I mean who falls asleep on the lap of theGod of the Underworld? But I shouldn't fall asleep, I said to myself.

"I will get..up up, " I mumbled, as drowsiness took over.

"Peaceful, huh?" he asked to particularly no one twirling a strand of her ebony hair.
