"Wow. That's really A-list cooking! You should be a chef." Without any doubt, it was true that Riel's dishes were a success.

"Do you still remember who you are?" He teased her.

"Actually no, I don't remember my name, even yours. Hey mister, who are you?"

"I doubt you'll ever forget me. Forgetting me and my gorgeous face? Not in million years I might say." Though he thought that he doesn't really know who he is, but he kept that in his mind.

"Wow. That's also A-list ego you have there. But since I really enjoyed the food you prepared, I will agree to everything you say. Just for now. Did I mention that those were my favorites?"

"Really? Those were your favorites? What a coincidence!" The truth was Riel researched all of Krizia's likes and dislikes. He wanted to impress her. He would start researching more about her life after their dinner.

"I don't believe in coincidence.

"I thought you're going to agree with me?"

"Yeah, but, for me, there is no coincidence. Everything is planned. But that's just me.

"So, what's your deal? I mean, what did you take in college?"

"I'm an architecture graduate. Though I think I forget everything already."

"When you learn something, you'll never unlearn it. Even if you don't use it, when you need to do it, it will naturally come out, unraveling your true potential." He wanted her to never stop believing in herself. Though he figured, it's not true that you cannot unlearn something. Since he himself doesn't remember anything from his past.

"I hope you're right. It was my dream to establish my own Architecture Firm. It's somewhat in line with my family's business, Construction and Real Estate. But when my parents died, I had to jump in and take over the business as the owner and not an Architect. They trained me for six months. If I have known then about their devious plans for me and my inheritance, I should have just walked away after the funeral."

"Krizia. . ." As much as he would like to hear her story, he didn't want to put pressure on her.

"Riel, I think I'm ready to share my story. I want you to know everything from me and not from your research." Because of the friendship and trust that were starting to build between them, she felt safe and secured to open up to him.

"If that's what you want. I am here to listen." He moved closer to her and took her hands in his. Taking a deep breath, she started with her tale.

When Krizia started speaking, Riel looked at her saddened expression. If only he could take away her pain he would do it in a heartbeat.

"When my parents died in a plane crash, I thought life was cruel. I didn't have a choice but to accept and move on. In a snap, I grew up. Gone was the carefree and fun loving Krizia. I had to take over the business left by my parents. As their sole heiress, I stepped up and trained to be CEO of A&R Corporation. My Uncle Steve guided me and taught me what I needed to know in order to survive the corporate world. I trusted him the way my parents did. At some point, I became his puppet, following everything he wanted to do with the company. I put my trust and confidence in him since he was the only one who helped me in my time of need." She was silent all of a sudden as if contemplating to continue with her story. Riel pulled her towards him, he held her

her time if you're not comfortable. . ." She stopped his speech by placing her finger on his lips, silencing him.

"Shhh... I am thinking... I think I need wine. Do you have any worthy drink here?" She smiled and he couldn't help but just stare at her. She poked his cheeks.

"Please get some wine?" She repeated her request.

"Fine." He gently moved her hand away from his face, got up from the couch and walked to the Bar at the corner of the room. He took two wine glasses and his Cullen Diana Madeline Cabernet Sauvignon that costs $130. He wanted to offer her the best on his shelf though it might not be as expensive as the ones she was used to. Krizia was sitting indian style on the couch when he returned. Riel placed the bottle and the glasses on top of the mahogany center table.

"Aren't you worried about the varnish? Do you want me to get a coaster or a mat for that?" Krizia offered but he just shook his head and smiled at her.

"It's fine. I'm sure we won't spill any wine on this. Here." He unscrewed the cap and poured some wine on her glass. She smiled when she saw the wine label.

"Wow. A real Australian wine. Thank you."

"I figured we both need a good drink." He resumed his seat beside her. They silently enjoyed the fragrant aroma and flavorful red wine. Krizia was the first to ask for a refill. Riel just watched her as she swirl the wine on her glass before she take a sip. The way she gazed at the wine was making him feel out of sorts.

She looked both vulnerable and sexy.

"Stop staring." She whispered and he just chuckled.

"I can't help it. Do you feel better now?" There's no point in denying that he was looking at her.

"I actually am. Would you mind if we just stay here for a while? Tell me something about yourself for a change." Riel almost choked on his wine when she stretched her long legs and placed her feet on top of the table.

"What. . .what do you want to know?" He avoided looking at her legs just inches beside the wine bottle.

"Anything. Basic things I guess. Your favorite food, movie, color, stuff like that." Krizia was on her fourth glass of wine and its making her feel tipsy. She was not good with liquor. She usually just drink up to two glasses.
