After a painfully long, and very awkward ride, we finally reached Luc's estate -as Azrael demanded- and I quickly bolted out of the car, rushing to put as much distance as possible between us, struggling to calm down my racing heart and wretched nerves.

Standing just a few feet away from the car, on the concrete alley, I then took a deep breath, closing my eyes for a brief moment, still feeling a ghost of the warm sensation wherever his skin had made contact with mine, making it even harder for me to calm down.

Damnit...Why can't I just stop feeling like this?

"I don't care who the fuck are you, you're paying for this, man!"

I could now hear my brother's annoyed tone, shouting at Azrael, from somewhere behind me, clearly reffering at the entirely missing door of his car, making me lightly shake my head in dissaproval at his arrogance. My brother really is something. Just about an hour ago, he had found out that Raz is an Archangel, and now he was arguing with him over his damn car!

Azrael obviously ignored him, as he calmly strode past me, heading towards the main entrance, and simply said, "Come on."

I started to slowly walk, following him from close behind, and soon, my brother was by my side, carrying in his arms a still unconscious Leila.

Wow...That must've shaken her up pretty badly.

I tiredly sighed, passing through the wooden doors, while Azrael was holding the door open for us to get in, keeping my gaze down the whole time.

What has my life become?

Feels like only yesterday I was arguing with my brother over some stupid, trivial matters, and now

who actually showed me some kindness in all this madness.

"Why are you talking to him like that? It's not his fault that I ended up like this! And who made you my "lawyer" anyway?" I suddenly shouted at him, letting out all the anger and frustration bubbling up inside me from a while ago, making everyone in that room now stare at us.

"Blake, "

"No! You shut the fuck up already! This is all your fault! My brother almost got killed today by that bitch sister of yours!"

He stood there, still, staring at me unmoved the whole time, while I shouted from the top of my lungs, feeling hot tears gathering in my eyes, also feeling extremely overwhelmed already by all the crazy events happening lately.

"You know what? I'm sick of this! I'm sick of all this!

I'm sick of you, and your fucked-up sister, and all this bullshit!" I angrily yelled between tears, noticing how he slightly flinched at my last sentence, then, without any other hesitations, I ran outside, loudly slamming the door behind me.
