A week had passed since Luc's party, and yet, we hadn't seen or spoken to each other since that night...

That night...

I sighed, absently staring at my rexflexion in the mirror, remembering once again the way his lips touched mine...

So soft...so sweet...

I closed my eyes for a brief moment, those deep blue irises shining in the moonlight plaguing my mind once again, almost driving me crazy already.

Why?

Why did he had to do that?

Why did he had to kiss me?

Since that night, I kept asking myself those same questions...

Obviously, still with no answers...

Only with the memory of those warm, plump lips caressing mine, and with a strange, awful sensation in the pit of my stomach...

Everything was just fine, until he came along...

I was perfectly fine on my own, wihout having anyone messing with my mind...

And now, he ruined it...

He had ruined it all...

I checked my appearance one last time, before heading out.

The bags under my eyes were now neatly covered with make-up, my messy hair was now perfectly straightened, and my baby blue denim shorts matched perfectly with my soft pink t-shirt and chucks, all prepped up for a new school day.

Perfect. Just keep smiling, and everything will be just fine.

If only...

A sudden cold breeze, blowing against my skin, got my mind suddenly become on high alert, and I quickly turned around, my eyes frantically searching the balcony area, my heart silently hoping to find him standing there, just like the last time...

But sadly, no one was there...

Just the white curtains fluttering in the light wind breeze, as the glass balcony door was half-opened.

I sighed again, lightly shaking my head in dissaproval at my own foolishness,

y conflicted about this, "I just, I don't know..." She sighed again, tiredly rubbing her forehead for a few moments, before she spoke again, "I feel like I'm taking something away from you, you know?"

I lightly shook my head, obviously a little bothered that she would think such thing, "No. Stop saying that! You are not taking anything away from me.

My brother deserves just as much as I, or you do, to have someone special in his life.

And if that someone would be you, then I would be more than happy, knowing that it's you, and not one of those skanks like Olivia." I sincerely stated, noticing how she slightly cringed at the mention of my brother's ex.

And that because she knew her pretty well, unfortunately.

"And you know why?

Because I know that you can truly make him happy."

That last sentence truly brought tears, brimming in her eyes, filled with joy, and without a single warning, she threw her arms around me, pulling me in a warm hug.

And though I truly felt happy that they could actually have something special together, this just only reminded me how lonely I felt...
