Every muscle in my body was stiff as a board. My breathing quickened as I panicked. I had only been waiting a few minutes, and I was already realizing the errors of my ways. I was so stupid! This was Seth Valdez, the Prince of Vampires, Master of Seduction! He tricked me into having kids with him, and that was when we had spent the whole day together! He was going to be unstable already from being away from me, and now I was going to make him mad? Not to mention that I'm completely defenseless. Well, I know I was before against him, human vs. vampire, but more so now. I was on a pond of thin ice before; now I was on an ocean of the cracking surface.

Just stay cool I told myself. If you start feeling too weak, give in for a little, then finish the argument strong. Strong beginnings are good, but strong endings are better.

The door creaked open, and Seth poked his head in. His eyebrows furrowed when he saw me sitting up, wide awake, but then…all hell broke loose.

Seth's eyes turned into two orbs of emerald, a scowl appeared on his face, and his muscles coiled. He walked in to the room silently, predatorily. "Who, " he asked, voice deadly, "is that?" He pointed the wall in general, since there were about twelve posters on each wall.

I rattled off the name of the shirless model, staring out from fifty posters with frozen eyes, unaware of the trouble his body- which was meant to be admired, but that's beside the point- was going to cost me.

"Why is his picture in my house?"

"I put him there."

"How and why?"

"What do you mean, how?"

"I'm not playing games here, Angel. You have broken wrists and ankles. Who helped you?"

"People, " I shrugged carelessly. "I thought of the idea myself, though." I probably shouldn't have said that. I watched in silent fear as his jaw clenched, as well as his fists.

"Why is he there?" he gritted out, like he was quickly losing patience with a child that understood something, and was faking being stupid to waste time.

"Why not?" That, my friends, is when he lost it. In less than a second, he was on top of me, pinning me down like a trained SWAT agent. One hand retreated to my lower back, sneaking under my shirt so it was skin to skin. The other gripped the back of my head, under my hair, bringing my head a breath away from his. Ready to take on his punishing kiss, I closed my eyes and thought of anything that I knew would drive him crazy. When I didn't feel anything, I cracked my eyes open. His lips were hovering a hairsbreadth away from mine, curled into a smirk.

"You want to kiss me, " he breathed sexily. That caramel scent I loved so much wafted across my face. I blushed heavily. "You like me better than him. I'm stronger, faster, can protect you better, and sexier. Admit it, Angel; you were just trying to make me jealous. It's not going to work."

"Who says I care what you think?" I questioned, mentally clearing my head of anything that could be used against me. "That guy is sexy. Just his abs and body…" I trailed off, trying to focus on anything other than the flash of anger and jealousy I saw in Seth's eyes that made me feel happier than it should have.

"How many times do I have to say this to get it through that stubborn head of yours, Angel?" Seth snapped. "You are mine. Do you understand what that means? I don't look at other girls. I don't see anyone other than you. And that means you don't look at any other guy. This what's-his-face, " he gestured vaguely to offending photographs, "is history. He's not in your life."

I knew this wasn't going to work if we argued too much, so I went on to the next set of pranks. Hopefully they all would work fluently. "You're right, " I sighed. "I'll take them down."

"Yeah, " I nodded.

"Good girl." He kissed me quickly, getting off the bed and my body easily.

"Where are you going?" I asked innocently, sitting up on my elbows.

"Shower, " he replied, walking over to his dresser. Perfect.

"Hey, hey, hey, " I called as his hand went to grab the drawer handle. The poster thing hadn't worked out quite as I would have liked it to, so I was going to make sure this went perfectly. "What are you doing?"

"Getting clothes?"

"No, " I drawled. "I need to make this up to you. Remind me why I'm here."

"Me?" he checked.

"Mm-hmm, " I hummed, pointedly giving him a onceover.

"I need b-boxers, though."

I shrugged. "A towel works just as well, " I persuaded. Eww, but I could not let this plan go to waste.

"Oh, one more thing, " I told him as he was walking to the door that led to the bathroom. He paused, turning his head to look at me. "The water takes a while to come out. You might want to just wash your hair first, and then when it does come out, you can just rinse it."

"What do you mean it takes a while to come out?" he puzzled. "It should be just fine. Maybe I should check i-"

"Now?" I whined. "Can't you just check it later? I missed you…"

He slowly nodded. I threw him a smile, nodding in dismissal. As soon as the door shut, I realized I should have an escape plan. Would it be easier to team up with Elena and Cassie? But they may not be this far yet, and then that would ruin their payback. I figured I was better off alone. I glanced around the room, trying to find a place I could hide, if need be. I glimpsed my still empty closet; I really needed to find my clothes.

My best shot at finding them would be the basement, since that was where the guys took all those bags… Suddenly remembering something, I called Kenya in. Immediately, she was by my side due to my urgent voice. "What?"

"Please, go get Seth's clothes that he just took off and put them in his drawers when the shower turns on, " I whispered so low, I was practically mouthing it. She nodded, though.

I heard the shower turn on, then, "EVA, YOU LITTLE HELLCAT!" Kenya moved quickly, doing her task, saluting me on the way out the door.

"Wait, get me out of here!" I called.

"I may help you wi

actually went past my belly button. Sleeves had been cut off, and only half of them actually had something that even offered to touch my collarbone. Most were now tube tops. Some of my more loose shirts had the sides cut vertically, slit horizontally into tiny strips, and those strips tied back together to hug my body more. Seth hadn't really made that many slits, either, so chunks of skin would show through. I noticed 99% of them showed my neck and shoulders.

My dresses, which I would never wear in the first place, had also been made more revealing. Some even had the stomach and back cut out! I flinched when I saw one with a bunny tail glued to it. Really? A freaking bunny tail?! God, please get me out of here.

A bright glittering caught my eye, and I pivoted on my heel to see an entire wall filled with jewelry. My mouth dropped open at all the colors, sizes, and different rocks. I winced, not even wanting to know how much all of that was worth. $3 million, at least, if I was right on how many of those were actually rubies, emeralds, diamonds, sapphires, onyx, or any other precious gem.

Wary, I cautiously went to check my shoes. Just as I had predicted, all of them were replaced with at least three-inch heels. They were set perfectly on shelves, so I could see each and every pair.

A throat was cleared from behind me. I whipped around, my hair going in my eyes. I impatiently shoved it behind my ears, glaring the hardest glare at one certain male. He smirked at me, his green eyes laughing joyously. "No, " I deadpanned. "You're the biggest idiot I've ever met if you think I'm going to change out of these clothes into something like that."

"As soon as their washed, you can always borrow my clothes, " he said in a sing-song voice. My teeth gritted together. I had a feeling he would like that just a little bit too much. Hmm, revealing, girly clothes, or comfy clothes, but belonging to Seth. I also had a hunch he would somehow make me 'pay' for borrowing his clothes. If I can't get out of this, guess I'll just have to suck it up.

Wait, where did Eva go? If I get out of this? I'm Eva! I always get out of things! Ugh, these guys were changing me, and not for the better.

"Where are my guy shorts?" I hissed venomously. He seemed unfazed by my impatient tone, hard glare, and set jaw.

"No longer a clothing option for you, " he shrugged.

"You little…" I trailed off, not able to think of a good enough word to describe him. Sure, there were many I could think of-devious, cunning, evil, infuriating- but they were used to describe his regular personality. I couldn't think of anything to call this overly confident, perverted Seth.

"What? What am I, Angel?" Seth taunted.

"You little devil, " I snarled.

"I'm not a devil, love. I'm a vampire."

"Give me my clothes back!" I demanded.

"Hmm, I'll give you what you want, when you give me what I want."

"What do you want?" I hedged.

"That ring on your finger."

"Oh, come on! That is so cliché!" I threw my hands up in the air to further my point. (Yes, I know, a little Twilight-ish, but Seth's just being his nice, understanding self. *Please note the sarcasm these words carry*)

"Is it? I'm just trying to make a compromise here, love."

"Stop calling me that!"

"What? Love?"

"No, Mufasa!" I retorted sarcastically. The Lion King- best movie ever. "Yes, love!"

"Huh, I like Angel better anyways."

"I'm not an angel, " I growled.

"Oh, but if you weren't an angel, you wouldn't have a problem wearing those clothes."

"Sorry I don't want to dress like I live in a playboy mansion! A bunny tail? Really?!"

"Angel, " Seth smirked. "It's time for a reality check. You do live in a playboy mansion." He backed out of the room slowly. "Have fun dressing up in your new wardrobe, " he smirked before shutting the door. I growled at the place he had disappeared from.

"You're going to regret testing me, " I muttered. "Didn't your mom ever tell you to not play with fire?"
