*Sarah*

"Nyima!" I heard Lei shout as soon as we entered the stadium where the international tournament was taking place. "How was your training?"

"It went well. I am indebted to Marina and Silas for all their help," she said, turning to look at our two tutors.

"Don't mention it," Marina said, smiling proudly. "Glad to have helped."

"There you are," a handsome black haired man said. "I kept calling you but you wouldn't answer."

Silas looked around. "I forgot my phone."

"You sound like Lei," Yen said, shaking her head.

"Yeah," Kun said, grinning.

Lei blushed. "I don't forget my phone much anymore..."

"'Much' being the keyword," Yen said, giggling.

The youngest triplet pouted and turned away. "I'm going to go find us some seats."

"That kid sounds like you when you were younger," Nyima said, laughing.

Hideo blushed. "Y-you remember?"

Nyima narrowed her iodine eyes at him. "Of course. I don't forget those who have been rude to me. You owe me."

Hideo gulped. "Uh, do you like curry?"

"If it has carrots," she said, grinning.

"Okay, I'll add carrots then," he said, turning around.

"Hmm, why do people keep repaying me in food?" Nyima asked.

"You didn't protest," Kun said.

Nyima blushed. "Well, I like food..."

Marina, Xue, and I snickered.

"D-don't laugh," Nyima said, turning away. "I'm going to go help Lei find seats."

"I'll come with you," Yen said, snickering. She glanced at her brother. "Go on, tell Sarah what you were going to tell her."

"Tell me what?" I asked.

Kun scratched the back of his head. "I just wanted to wish you luck. Teach H.E.H a lesson, especially Aida."

My face warmed up. "Thank you. I plan to."

Kun grinned before turning away.

I took a deep breath and headed for the field. Today was the day I would make Sera proud.

"So you came," Aida said as she stood across from me in the middle of a densely forested swampland. It was the field that we had chosen for our match.

"Of course I did," I said, putt a hand on my hips. "I was not going to hide like a coward."

She snickered. "That is one attribute that makes you a better leader than your brother. Though it's not one we need in a puppet."

I narrowed my eyes at her. I knew that my brother wasn't the bravest person, but his inaction against you has all been in order to preserve the monarchy, to buy time. Now that time is now!"

Water droplets gathered around me. I flung them forward in the form of needles.

Aida didn't move. The needles went right into her but not how I had wanted. Instead she had absorbed them just like how she had absorbed the current of water during the obstacle race.

I had to overwhelm her water absorption like how Nyima had done with Adela's spells during the First-year Tournament. I took a deep breath and raised my hands up high. I would need to draw more water than what Nyima used on Silas during our joint training. Sadly there wasn't nearly enough in the swamp, forcing me to draw the vapor from the air.

Aida snickered. I shrieked as a thorny vine whipped me into a tree. "You think you can win? Pathetic." She walked over to me and yanked on my hair. "You've been a thorn on our side,

ch!" An yelled as he slammed his sword against the barrier.

"You two, get away!" the announcer said. "And you, Aida, stop at once!"

Aida sighed and dropped Sarah into the swarm below. The already reddish muddy water were quickly dyed crimson.

"Princess!" Sarah's teammates yelled, rushing over.

The male knight, Dai, rushed over into the waters and pulled out the bloodied princess.

Fai clasped both hands over her mouths. "P-princess."

"Sarah," An said, falling to his knees.

I glared at Aida as she calmly walked away from the scene.

"You! I'm going to destroy you!" I said.

Aida chuckled. "I would love to see you try. Defeating a member of the Rios royal family is a high honor for us. I'll be sure to give you a more... special treatment than the princess."

I gripped the hilt of my sword. A pillar of light flashed out of my body and torn a hole in the darkening heavens. "You... You think that you can get away with this?"

"Wow, impressive. I'm sure now that you'll give me a more impressive match than the Seran princess."

"No, it's not him who'll be avenging Sarah," An said as he pushed himself up. Multiple purple chains covered his. A purple aura covered his sword. "I'll be the one to crush you for what you did to my friend!"

Aida chuckled. "To be frank, I could take both of you on at the same time!"

An and I dashed at her but our attacks were repealed by a barrier.

"What did I just say?" the announcer-moderator said as he descended from the air. "You know that it's against the rules to attack someone outside of an event."

Aida stuck out her tongue at us. "Bye, losers!" she said, waving.

"You little... come back!" I screamed. "I'm going to kill you! You hear me, witch! I'm going to make you regret what you've done!"

The H.E.H. girl continued on walking away, not even daring to take another look at us.

An collapsed to the floor as the aura around him vanish. "Kun, whether it's you or me, let's destroy her... like she destroyed Sarah."

I nodded. "Yeah... she'll get what's coming to her..."
