After a pause, Stuart casually responded, "Do you want to make this interesting? A bet, perhaps?"

Upon hearing this, Amelia's heart beat quickened. She smiled faintly, seemingly anxious. Despite this, she still put on a brave face and asked, "What bet?"

Stuart pulled the driver out of his golf bag and waved it to Amelia's face as he answered, "If you win, I'll pay you the fees for three months' worth of coaching."

Amelia was immediately suspicious as she knew there was no such thing as a free lunch. Her voice low, she asked, "And if I fail?"

Stuart burst into laughter. He tried to gather himself before responding, "Then you'll coach me for another three months, free of charge."

"Stuart, this is unfair. If you win, it means that I've taught you very well. Instead of letting me teach you for free, I think you should reward me if you win," Amelia whined.

With a mischievous look on his face, Stuart pursed his lips and said, "Okay. If I win, you go on a date with me tonight."

Amelia was startled upon the mention of the date. Before she could even come up with an excuse to reject him, he waved his hand and said, "Well, that's deal. Go on, ladies first!"

It was December in BJ City so it was rare to get a sunny day. The sky was blue and clear of dark clouds. Amelia took her sport coat off and draped it on the back of a chair. She looked slender in her tight sports suit.

Afterwards, she pulled the club out of her golf bag and gestured in a way that implied she was playing the first ball. As she wielded the golf ball, the white ball flew out into the distance.

Stuart eyed Amelia as she swung her arms. After her first shot, he shrugged his shoulders and said, "It's my turn now."

As they walked to the next hole, they chatted with one another. On more than one occasion, Stuart would casually try to put his arm around Amelia who would easily dodge them.

Harper served as Stuart's caddie. He carried his golf bag that weighed more than 20 kg. Beads of sweat were rolling down his forehead as he trudged behind Stuart and Amelia all the while, complaining inwardly and cursing Stuart in his head.

When they got the third hole, Stuart had hit a long putt, thus achieving a birdie. Amelia started to get nervous especially as she thought of how Stuart had just treated her. As a result, she hit the ball into a sand pit and only made a double bogey. This would make her score fall behind Stuart's by two shots.

Stuart burst into

ade him angrier. He couldn't believe the nerve Stuart had. He was so difficult to get rid of.

Provoked by Charles's tone, he barked, "What did you just say? Would you dare to repeat that?"

Charles responded without missing a beat, "Oh, I didn't know you had a hearing problem? It's fine. I don't mind repeating myself. Listen very well then. Get out of my way!"

Stuart had never been humiliated this way before, so his face turned red with rage. Just as he was about to raise his hand to punch Charles, Amelia blocked him. "Mr. Hua, we don't allow fighting here," she said firmly.

Stuart pushed Amelia aside, pointed his finger at Charles's nose and said, "You son of a bitch! Do you want to die? If I wanted to, I could kill you in the snap of a finger. I'm giving you three minutes. Get down on your knees and apologize to me, or else I'll kill you right here, right now."

Charles's golf companies seemed thoroughly confused now by what was happening. However, they could easily tell that the rivalry between these two men went way back. As they were thinking of a way to appease the situation, Charles gestured for them to just stand back. Thus, they remained where they were. After all, it was none of their business.

After that, Charles said sharply, "Oh? May I know how you will kill me? Come on, show me! Don't tell me you're just all talk?"

Stuart eyed the men Charles was with, noticing that they were all quite tall and strong. He realized that even Charles was taller than he was. Only Harper, who didn't even dare to look at Charles, was on his side. He figured that Harper wasn't going to be useful as he was a coward.
