Workouts not only improve your physical and mental wellbeing, they also help you shape up and increase your confidence.

When you workout, it is very important to incorporate cardio into your routine. Cardiovascular exercises (High intensity interval training) help in burning more calories in less amount of time. The rest of the exercises are pretty useless if you don"t include cardio. Cardio vascular exercises improve heart health, metabolism, reduces depression by releasing hormones, improves recovery ability. Cardio workouts include running, jogging, skipping etc. If you can"t go out and run or jog, at least buy a jump rope and skip continuously for at least five minutes, gradually increasing the amount of time daily. It is better if you alternate between cardio and regular. That is, skip-push ups-skip-pull ups-skip-crunches....

The following exercises are only for a initial few months, until you are comfortable with the idea of working out daily. After that, you will have to slowly move on to more complex and harder exercises.

Trust me, it will completely transform you and it"s going to be worth it. So never give up. And please don"t fool yourself with excuses. There are busier people than you who workout for almost an hour, everyday.

If you are going to try weights, use lighter weights and do more number of reps. That is ideal for getting a leaner body.

Jump a couple of inches off the floor, giving enough room for the rope to slide under your feet. Only the balls of your feet should touch the floor.
